Dear Revdex.com,We sent the client the following response last May 15, 2015:Dave,I am in talks with Jim (lead foreman) on the next steps and it doesn't help that you involved the Revdex.com on this considering we didn't damage your door and it seems like accidental damage on somebody's part NOT including usI inspected the door on the last day of the job and the garage inspection passed based on the door being functional which the county inspector inspected as wellWe have records of this that can be provided by the County if it gets to thatNow the warranty claims department for the manufacturer is also claiming accidental damage which once again is NOT due to faulty labor on our partOur warranty also excludes materials failure which is clearly stated under our terms and conditions and I notified you of this several months back and I have email records of this as wellThe door could have been hit or tried to be opened when the lock was on by you or any other vendors that may have come to your house after our job completionWe feel no liability on our end and no third party has attributed the door malfunction to our labor installI asked Jim to explicitly state this and he has emailed me his statement that he didn't install the door incorrectlyThis all seemed to drag on and it didn't help with the maid theft incident which I know Jim and Tony are still upset aboutI have restrained from stating all of the above facts to the Revdex.com as it stays on the website and it won't help either party resolve the matter which is getting your door issue resolvedI think a fair resolution, although we feel no liability, would be for us to refund you the garage door cost of $and you can proceed with resolving the issue through repairs or whatever you deem appropriate thru another vendorJim and myself don't feel comfortable doing anymore work on your property and this may be the only solution hereBut before we can do this we would need you to retract the Revdex.com complaint 100% and we can draft a legal document for both parties to comply byI would of course need you to agree to this and Jim as wellJim has not agreed to it yet and I understand his position is the same as mine but we really need to resolve this amicablyI need to discuss with Jim some more but I think I can convince him so we can all move onIf we cannot resolve this we will just state our side of the story to the Revdex.com and most likely like in the past nothing will come of it and the complaint will just go unresolvedThis won't help you much at allOn a side note, you stated that we haven't done anything to resolve the matter but it was Jim who saw you at Home Depot a few weeks back, and said lets go get the warranty phone number from the garage door aisle but you didn't proceed with itIt was me who sent you the garage door link with all the specs and manufacturers contact number back in late January in hopes of you filing a warrantyWhy should we do warranty claim legwork such as taking pictures when the door malfunction is not related to any faulty labor on our part therefore excluding it from warranty coverage? I have spent hours trying to resolve an issue, including filing the claim on your behalf, that we feel no liability whatsoever for but you state that you had to do all the warranty claim workWe had a hunch from the beginning that this was related to accidental damage which wasn't caused by us but I still tried to assist you nonethelessEND

All Renovations have been used by a couple of people in our neighborhood and everyone had good things to say about themApparently there are a couple contractors that work for All RenovationsWe had Edwin (F [redacted] ) and F [redacted] and they were awesome! They were both really nice, trustworthy, polite, professional, punctual, skilled and tidyThe team did a great job on the work and the level of the finishingBathroom: In the bathroom we had a complete remodel: new tub, new vanity, lights, toilet and tilesThe team did a really high quality job and made sure that they talked to me about anything that I may have not considered or any design decisionsI am not great with design so I appreciated asking Edwin and F [redacted] for their opinionsThe end result is fantastic and I was really happy with itTheir tile work is very good -- all the tiles were precisely cut and laidKitchen/Dining room: We didn't want to put in new cabinets in our kitchen to help keep costs down, but we wanted new flooringThey were able to remove the old flooring and cut it right up to the old cabinets, which meant that the new tiles were at the level of the old flooring so it looked seamlessThey did an excellent job with the tilingThey also installed a new oven and microwave with an external vent, which we didn't previously haveAll of it worked perfectly and looks really goodOn our kitchen ceiling there was a corner that needed patchingThey cut out a couple of old tiles and then used drywall to patch the areaThey cut groves in to the drywall/mud to make the new patch match the rest of the ceiling pattern and I can't even see the difference between the old and the new areasThey also did a great job at patching a piece of my hall hardwood and put in new wood and matched it with the old wood so you can't see the differenceIn the dining room we had our old ceiling replaced and some new spot lights put inI have an old house so as they started removing the ceiling it exposed some old house problems like uneven joists that needed to be straightened for the new ceiling to be level and some old joists that needed reinforcing with new joistsIt was stressful to discover these things as they were unexpected, but I was always shown the issue and we talked through different options (what happens if we leave it, various levels of fixing it etc.)General: The guys cleaned up at the end of each dayThe first thing they did in the dining room was lay down cardboard to protect the existing floorThey laid down fresh cardboard for us to walk across in the evenings as wellWhen they were doing the bathroom, which was upstairs, they laid down plastic covering on the stairs and hallways to the bathroomDuring demolition periods they put up plastic sheets to help contain the dust We were away for a week over the work and the guys looked after my house respectfully and I had no problems when I came backI will definitely use these guys in the future

All Renovations was great to work with during the renovation of my kitchen and bathrooms - they were very responsive to any contact and professional in every wayAdrian was punctual, thorough and handled every piece of the project in a timely and efficient mannerWhen a structural issue popped up, he knew how to address it and Omar provided a cost immediatelyWhat might have been a week project took just working daysI'd recommend them to anyone!

Dear Revdex.com, We spoke to the client after this complaint was submitted and indicated to him that we felt this complaint was wrongly submittedWe had emailed him back in January of this year with the manufacturer's information to help submit his warranty claim and the client failed to do soWe told the clientthat his complaint was unjust and it wasn't our fault that he didn't submit his warranty claim back in January of this year The client acknowledge everything and said he was going to retract this complaint since we had already started the assistance process for his garage door back in January of this year and we are still trying to do our best to resolve the matter Please forward to client and take appropriate measures regarding our complaint history as this complaint should never have been submitted Syed R***PresidentAll Renovations, Inc

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] RevDex.com: All Renovations has promised to compensate me for replacement of my garage door. I am retracting my complaint against them. 5/27/2015 2:13pm Wednesday. Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com and [redacted] , Thank you for forwarding this inquiry about our company and bringing it to our attention We have read the client’s complaint and statements and we would like to respond accordingly and not divert from the signed contract we had with the clientThe signed contract is attached along with the terms and conditions sent to the clientWe have outlined some of the key statements numbered below and our responses are included Client stated that they had taken baths in the tub and no leaking occurred before and that the jets were in working condition Company Response: Initially we met with the client in Feb to discuss their bathroom remodelThe client clearly indicated to us that they rarely used the tub and only wanted their shower area remodeledWe promptly provided them with a shower area only proposalThen later in the year in Nov the client called us back and decided that they no longer had a use for the tub since it was rarely used and that they would like to convert the tub area into a large expanded shower areaWe provided them with an estimate to do thisOnce again the client changed their mind in Sep and we provided them with a third estimate to keep the tub and make no changes to it as they didn’t want to purchase a new tub due to the hefty cost of a new tubWe clearly told the client that we cannot warranty or guarantee any issues with the tub and we didn’t mention anything about damages being limited to the demolition process onlyWe only indicated that due to the nature of the demolition process we cannot prevent damages to fixtures not being discardedThis was just one reason given for possible damages that may occur since most of the damages occur during the demo processRegardless, our work doesn’t cover fixtures not being replaced and it’s clearly stated on our contracts. The tub replacement is an item that was excluded from the contract and therefore any coverage for itThis is found on the attached signed contract under "scope of work excluded" Client stated that the damage to the pump motor and hose occurred during the cabinet installation only Company Response: This damage could have easily occurred during the demolition stage as well because the old vanity had to be removed as wellThis is inconclusive and our main concern is that the client waited nearly months to contact us about the issueThe client also withheld our payment upon job completion in Dec to test everything out in the bathroom and no leaks of any kind were foundWe were paid nearly a week after job completion in early Dec which gave the client plenty of time to discover any fault in our scope of work Since the client claims to have used the tub regularly, we are certain the tub was tested in Dec and no issues were found Client stated that the leak could have occurred due to a pipe burst in the tub area when we initially started the job Company Response: This is inaccurate because the pipe burst was on an elbow connection for the tub water supply lineWe quickly fixed this the same dayIf in fact this is where the leak is coming from, it would have leaked continuously and would have been noticed well before the job was even completedThis type of leak doesn’t take months to appear and is noticeable instantly We will further explain our findings below on where the leak is coming from after meeting with the client in June Client generally has stated that we haven’t determined the leak source as of yet but also states that the damage caused by us is at the tub pump/motor and hose area Company Response: This is contradictory on their part as the leak is coming at the tub motor and hose connectionThe motor doesn’t function or turn on although the power outlet is working fineThis was tested with the client on our site visit in June Any failure in the power source would be excluded anyhow as we didn’t do any work on the motor or tub electrical outletThe client seems intent to find us at fault and provide them with new tub parts to stop the leak some months after the job was completedWhy can’t a material failure have occurred? It happens all the time in the plumbing field The client is well aware of all our findings above upon a meeting with [redacted] and our foreman in June We sent the following email below stating our findings and comments on the tub part failuresThis is all still deemed accurate as of todayPart failure is very common on old fixtures as connections and valves fail after a certain time frameWe are surprised that their third party plumber would not know this especially since plumbers do repair work all the timeWe have also not been provided with any true findings by the third party plumber about us having caused the leakWe recommend for the client to contact the tub manufacturer to determine a local service provider who can replace the tub motor and fix the leaking hoseThe motor didn’t fail due to our work and the hose connected to the motor didn’t fail due to our work as we never removed or handled the motor or the hoses connected to itSince the client claims to use the tub, this is something that would have been discovered much sooner at our job completion or shortly thereafter and not months after the job was completed In summary, the motor most likely failed due to age and the hose connected to it leaks The tub and its parts are over years old Email below sent to **and [redacted] on June 17, In your email below dated May 11, you clearly stated that the jets were not working and the pump was leaking waterThe jets and pump are material failures which aren't covered under our warranty especially since we didn't install or do any work on the tub Regardless, material or part failure is excludedYou have a copy of our warrantyI can resend if you don't have a copy Anyhow we sent Edwin out to make sure the leak wasn't coming from any of our work that we contracted for and he confirmed it was not due to our work on June 9, after he met your husband ***Edwin stated to [redacted] that the jets malfunction and the leak at the motor was likely due to the motor failure and the hoses connected to itThey have worn out We didn't do any work on the jets, motor, or your tub's pumpThis is clearly a material and parts failure due to an aged tubOur warranty doesn't cover material or parts failure and any contractor or attorney, including ours, can confirm this for youHow can we be held responsible for an old tub's motor, hose, gasket, or pump failure? This is an old tub with old parts and it’s not something we can warranty as stated in our terms and conditionsOur insurance carrier would confirm this as well in case this escalates any further and they will address the matter with you and all attorneys involved You also stated in your email below that you had somebody look at the tub leakI am assuming they said the leak is coming from our work and that the tub parts and motor work fine, and that the pump is also not leaking This is why you are trying to address this matter with us and find us at fault If this is all accurate, please provide their report and/or contact information so we can further investigate the issueIf the leak is related to newly installed work by us, then we would be happy to address it and go from there Edwin has confirmed via an onsite visit on June 9, all of our findings above PS- We have also cc'd our attorney in this matter to keep track of any unfair defamation we may suffer from this claim if it’s found that this issue was not due to our faultWe will then address the matter with the appropriate legal course
