Review: I responded to an ad on [redacted] for lawnmower repair. Bobby from All Repairs Unlimited came to my house on May 27 to fix my riding mower, which was not operating properly. He informed me that the problem was caused by too much oil. He drained the oil to an acceptable level. I rode the lawn mower for 10 minutes, paid Bobby $60 and he left. A few days later, I started up the mower and again it was inoperable. I contacted Bobby who instructed me to purchase carburetor/fuel cleaner and pour it into the gas tank, which I did. This did not work. Bobby and I agreed that he would return and repair the mower at no charge unless parts needed to be purchased. I went out of town the weekend of June 5, but my wife [redacted] spoke to Bobby. He was supposed to return June 6 or 7, but didn't. When I came back on June 8, I proceeded to call, e-mail and text Bobby. I left him more than one voice mail. He never responded to any of my messages.Desired Settlement: $60
Review: "Bobby" ([redacted]) advertises on [redacted] as All Repairs Unlimited and Bob Small Engine. "Bobby" also advertises on [redacted] and other sites selling tractors and lawn equipment. I have found he does NOT have any licenses. He does NOT have a license required in CT to fix automobiles and is NOT licensed as a business. "Bobby" aka [redacted] came to my house on 10-3-2015 to fix my 3 year old lawnmower which would not start. He sprayed something into the gas , sprayed the same substance into the carburetor and behind the air filter. It still would not start and he took something else out of his truck and sprayed all the same places with this new container. The lawnmower started up and he asked for $120.00 ($60. to come out and $60 for the repair) "Bobby" also indicated that he could get my snowblower ready for winter. The next day I could not start the lawnmower to mow the lawn. I called him and he said he would be out the following day. He did NOT show. Contacted him again and he said he would be out on Sat. Again NO show. I have contacted him twice a week since and he does NOTrespond. Not only am I out $120.00 but I do not have a working lawnmower. 'Bobby" ([redacted])
business card does not list a last name, indicates hes a master mechanic?, best prices, best guarantee. 24/7 service.
'Bobby" aka [redacted] is NOT a legitimate business or registered with the state therefore, there is no recourse. "Bobby"aka [redacted] is a scam artist. His website which does NOT give any info on business location depicts vintage vehicles with young women in bathing suits. One bathing beauty is wearing a headset to take all our service calls 24/7. "Bobby"aka [redacted] can process any of your credit cards so you can donate to his business. And of course ends with God Bless You on his business card and website.[redacted]Desired Settlement: $120.00
