They decided to go out of business with only 3 days' notice. And they gave us the option to sign an agreement stating I will accept 10% of my royalties and promise to not sue so they won't go bankrupt or get nothing. Unfair and shady practices. They sold my books and are keeping all the money.
All Romance sent out a notification to all authors on 12/28 telling us they are closing the site on 12/31 and refusing to pay us royalties earned from September to December. We were offered 10 cents on the dollar which is utterly insulting. They are cheating both readers and authors and short pay the consequences.
All Romance eBooks LLC just announced that they will be going out of business on 31 December 2016, and that they will only be paying authors .10 on the dollar of the royalties due to them in the last quarter. This his thievery. Plus, they are only giving consumers 5 days to download their purchases from the site.
Additionally, they sent out an email to authors 5 days ago on the 23rd of December attempting to sell advertisement spots on their site for 2017. So basically they never intended to provide the services for the ad space they were selling. Here is a copy of the email they sent out:
