Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The Dealer did not tell me anything about how I could not bring the car back while we were filing the paperworkAfter we did file the paperwork I left the dealership and returned not even minutes later telling him that the car was smoking from the engine and he said it was smoking because of left over oil on the engineAt that point I asked is it ok to drive is it good? he said yes I then said well I don't want to buy a car thats gonna f# up on me in the long runIf the car f#s up on me tomorrow can I bring it back ? He said "if it messes up on you yes you can bring it back and I will make it right"I got the car on Friday they were closed the weekend I took it back Tuesday after I got it back from my mechanicThey still have the car I gave them the key and would like to just settle this in a civil manner Regards, [redacted] ***

The title has been misplaced by a previous employee We have told the customer on numerous occasions the situation and that we are working on a replacement title We did offer to buy back the vehicle at the original purchase price, but he refused We have sent him certified letters explaining the situation and he does not seem to understand He has come to the office and disrupts business, was yelling at the customers to "not buy from us" He followed our sales girl after closing time in his vehicle, and we filed a police report for stalking our year old female employee He also continues to call the phone relentlessly and has been told not to call and harass There was a police report filed again for phone harassmentHe asked for an updated temp tag, and was told to provide current insurance (the law) so we can provide that He refused.We have to wait on a timeline set by the state and file numerous documents to the state to get the title We cannot make it go any faster.We anticipate the license plates to be ready in about days or so, and the title will mailed directly to him from the state after that

Car was bought AS_IS, no warranty, and he agreed to it and signed the form

I am rejecting this response because: The business did not explain the paperwork properly and I feel as if I was taken advantage ofThe business wants me to pay another $and they do not even have the car at the businessWhen I ask abput the car they say its in a secure location I ask if they can show me the car or at least keep it at the business since I am being screwed by having to pay for a car that does not run properly and they tell me everytime "you have to pay the rest of the balance before we give u the car back " How am I suppose to pay for a car when I have no idea where it is or if it is still in the same condition that I left it in.

Customer bought a car that was for "cash only".  We assisted him with some of the amount that he could pay out over a few weeks.  HE SAID HE WOULD "CHUNK SOME MONEY ON IT EVERY DAY." While processing the paperwork, he asked, "if the car "f# up on me tomorrow can I bring it back?" ...

We told him absolutely NOT, it is AS-IS where is, please make sure this is the car you want.  We did tell him it needs some tlc, and not to expect a lot.  He said he was ok with it as-is and would like to complete that sale.   He signed all the documents including the state mandated "buyers guide", (AS IS FORM).
