All Season Specialist

First off I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to this issueThis is the first time there has ever been a complaint or issue against myself or my companyOur goal at All Season Specialist is to make our customers happy and with them every step of the way during the
jobSo this complaint is very upsettingI also would to clear up I only have one company (All Season Specialist) and that's allI have never scammed anyone or taken advantage of any of my customersMr*** and myself have a signed contract which I have included here for you to seeThe one he showed is similar other than the fact it has been altered trying to make it look like he never signed it. The deal in this matter was that I (All Season Specialist) would take payments to put a new metal roof on Mr*** house(This is the first and last time I will make this sort of agreement)The deal was that when I had free time I would come work on it as he payed meI have paid for the materials out or pocket which is more than a couple paymentsFor the record the payments I have received thus far do not even cover the material cost or labor spend since the signing of the contract.Mr*** had made the first payments of $eachHe never made December's payment or .January's which makes Mr*** in breach of his contractThere was never any intention on our end of not fulfilling this contractThe weather since October has not been suitable to have myself or any of my guys on top of such a roof pulling metal downI now believe that Mr*** has made several untrue comments to the Attorney General and now the B.B.B and altering our contract there should be some of consequences on his partI also feel that after all of this if we had done the entire roof to completion before the payments were all met Mr*** would not have paidSincerely, Nick JAll Season Specialist

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Revdex.com spoke to customer and the following was relayed: On March 3rd I made a payment of $500 and Nick said he would return the following Monday with his crew. He did not show up. I have not seen or heard from him since. I had a company look at the job yesterday. They said that he should not be placing metal roofing over slate and shingle. He also used 1"x3" instead of 2"x4" as he was supposed to per the contract. The other contractor also noted that the metal Nick purchased and placed in our yard already has holes in it and cannot be used as it must have come from another roof and already been used. I would like Nick to return the $1,500. He can come pick up the materials he brought and his ladders and tools he left behind so that I can hire someone else to do the job and do it correctly. Revdex.com spoke to Nick at business and the following was relayed: I attempted to assist this customer by agreeing to payments. The customer did not maintain the payments, which was required for the work to continue. I have already invested more in materials than the customer has paid me. We had intended on returning in March but the weather did not permit us to do so. 1"x4" were used in place of 2"x4" headers due to the steepness of the roof and we needed to be able to catch the trusses with the screws. Regarding the metal, the metal was pre-drilled on the customer's property so that the holes would line up. I am willing to return and finish the job. With good weather, we could finish in one week. The contract would have to be rewritten with a substantial amount of the money remaining paid up front.
