All Seasons Catering By Shackamaxon

Review: This is a formal complaint against [redacted]. [redacted] and his company My Caterer, Inc. d/b/a All Seasons Catering By Shackamaxon ("Shackamaxon Catering"). **. [redacted] and his company, Shackamaxon Catering were contracted through the facility , [redacted] to provide retail food services for the facilitys events and that of their clients. I am a current client of [redacted] and I contracted **. [redacted]'s company to provide retail food services for an event November 9, 2013. To my knowledge **. [redacted] and Shackamaxon Catering failed to provide substantive documentation validating their license to engage in retail food services and food preparation. For this reason I was made aware by [redacted], owner of [redacted], that the Agreement between Shackamaxon Catering and the [redacted] had been terminated, banning Shackamaxon Catering from the facilitys premises due to a number of violations by Shackamaxon Catering. On July 18, 2013 by electronic and certified mail, I demanded that my deposit of $2,500.00 be returned within five (5) business days (July 26, 2013). To this date I have not received any response from **. [redacted] and as a result I now suffer compensatory damages of $2,500.00. In the interim I have discovered the kitchen that **. [redacted]'s retail food service company uses to prepare food was deemed unsatisfactory and out of compliance by the [redacted] Health Department with more than fifteen (15) health and food violations that of which included failure to obtain and display the City's required certifications. I find it very disturbing that **. [redacted] continues to allow food preparations in a facility that is in deplorable conditions and I feel as though it is an obligation for the City to take necessary action to ensure that **. [redacted] no longer conducts in the retail food service industry or the preparation of food.Desired Settlement: I am demanding that a refund of $2,500.00 be returned to me for the retail food services initially contracted between **. [redacted] and his company, Shackamaxon Catering.
