I don't recommend this company. I had trouble with their technician. He claimed he was denied access to my upstairs to do the repairs necessary. We told the company that wasn't true. The owner didn't believe his paying customer. I left a yelp review and got a condescending response from the owner. I called another company they came out and the expansion tank the other repair claimed was upstairs and claimed he was denied access to was actually downstairs the the unit itself. He had no interest in doing the repairs and blamed the customer. He cost his company my business as I called back and cancelled my service contract.

I know we have discussed this at length offline. I am very sorry you were not happy with the service and I wish you nothing but the best in the future.

Hired them to replace heat and ac system. Came highly recommended by 2 friends who had them install new systems without any issues. Unfortunately our install was a complete disaster. Guys not only hard- wired the humidifier so it ran continuously but they left a packing tab in the overflow pump and I had water in my finished basement. They are did not clean up and were sloppy. Almost 45 days later I am still waiting for the repairs to be finished and now I find out that they haven’t processed my rebates because I still owe them $1500 on a job that was $11,000. I feel like they are holding the rebates hostage and I won’t pay them the balance until everything is complete to the damages in the basement. The owner was rude when I asked him for a discount for the time and aggregation in cleaning up wet damaged boxes and he refused. One of his foreman admitted to me that he should have come the day of the install to make sure everything was done right but was busy on another job due to them being short staffed. Total negligence on their part.

We are so sorry to hear we fell short of ***'s expectations. There was a small leak from the humidifier which got his carpet wet and damaged some trim work. These repairs have been completed by a third party and we have paid those invoices directly. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and as such paid for the repairs in full. We will be more than happy to process the utility rebates but unfortunately the rebates require a paid in full invoice which we can not provide at this time as the customer has not yet made final payment for the installation. While *** has made a request for "punitive damages", that is not something we are able to accommodate. As of the time of this complaint, *** has not paid $1500 and as a matter of customer service, we have allowed this balance to remain open until he is satisfied or until we feel we have done everything in our power to reasonably accommodate his requests.

Had fixed an Air conditioner with All Seasons Comfort Control on 07/19/2019. The air conditioner stopped working today. When I call today, they are saying I need to pay for the service again.

We have a Maintenance agreement through All Seasons Comfort Control. Our heater needed a zone valve power head to regulate heat. They put in a *** product which costs 84.95. The repair was here appr.1 hour. They refused to give me a breakdown of the cost of the part and labor. ( My husband found the part on ***)The bill only reflects total cost of $449.51.I complained about the bill to the owner via phone, but had to give a check to repairman before he left our home.

I am sorry to hear the customer was not 100% satisfied with the service.

The homeowner contacted us with no heat during a snow storm, as a preferred customer we dispatched a technician despite the weather. A diagnostic was completed, part ordered, part retrieved, and a technician was back on site in less than 24 hours from the original diagnostic- again, despite the road conditions.

Because of the platinum status of the customer, dispatch and diagnostic fees were waived. Prior to the repair being completed, an all inclusive written quote was provided to the customer. This quote was accepted- please see the attached signed work authorization form.

While I understand the customer would prefer a parts/ labor breakdown- it was explained that our quote includes much more- parts, labor, part sourcing/ transportation, same day service, full warranty of repair, etc. This conversation was held PRIOR to the repair being completed and the customer was given the opportunity to decline. They accepted the repair quote but apparently, felt it necessary to file a complaint.

I have evaluated the situation thoroughly and both the technician and the office staff delivered a high level of service to this customer at a fair price- all procedures were handled correctly and the repair was fully explained and accurately quoted to the customer before any costs were incurred.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: The company did not address the specific points of my complaint. The technician came out initially on 11-15-2018. He stated that he did not have the part nor did the company have it in stock. However, He stated that a technician would come back the next day with the part to install it. The technician did indeed return on 11-16-2018 and the price quoted was $449.51. I immediately called Mr. Chris L, one of the owner's of the company, and spoke to him via speaker on the technician's phone. I asked him the cost of the part. Mr. L stated that he could not break it down for me because "If you went to a restaurant they would not break it down for you". The second sentence in the third paragraph of the Company's response is totally false. At no time did Mr. L tell me that the quote includes: parts, labor, part sourcing, transportation, etc. Since we were on speaker phone, our conversation was heard by the technician and my husband, as well as myself. The heart of my concern is as follows: Does the consumer have the legal right to know the specific cost of parts and labor? The technician gave us the name of the part, as well as the brand, and we located it on *** for $84.95. The technician was in our home approximately one hour. Even though I feel that $449.51 is an excessive bill, since we are senior citizens and needed our house warmer the 59 degrees, we did not have time to explore possibilities of using another heating company.

I feel the "restaurant" remark was totally uncalled for because every restaurant I ever ate at does break down the bill for drinks, entrée and dessert. This is the only company I ever dealt with who refused to tell me how much a part costs.

Regards

I highly recommend all seasons. our original system died. we received estimates from 3 companies (including the original company we used 20 years ago). our salesman was tim hoffman, he was so knowledgeable and easy to work with. he went over all our options and explained the systems thoroughly. on the morning of installation we were met by kevin, he was prompt and courteous and took care in prepping our home for the work. shortly after dan and nick arrived and the heavy work all started.
the three guys were so nice and efficient. on a 96 degree day with oppressive humidity I don't know how these men were so pleasant!!! but they were. 6-7 hours later the installation of our new american standand A/C system was complete. what a fantastic bunch of guys, you wouldn't even know they were here. they cleaned up better then what they arrived to...even put back our closet where the air handler is located!!!! kudos all seasons for a job well done. you passed customer satisfaction with flying colors, and the product you support speaks for itself. thank you!!!!

DO NOT USE! WORST SERVICE EVER! SCAM! Technician came out promptly...said the blower motor was out for my tenant's furnace and it will cost $605 to replace the furnace. I looked up the price on the internet for the blower motor and it costs about $80 to buy the part and an hour to install. Since it was an emergency, I told them to go ahead. An hour later the tech called to say he couldn't do the replacement with a universal blower motor (which, btw, is cheaper).
Then, next day I received a call from the office that the OEM part is for $290 more. I refused the added cost and said please just charge be the diagnostic fee (since you were unable to complete the work due to your own fault). They said the tech was there for 2 hours and we charge $159 an hour. so you owe us 318. So they scammed me for $318. NO work was done. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!

Hello!

First, let me thank you for allowing All Seasons to service your HVAC needs- even though you are out of state and were not able to be on site, I'm glad your tenant was able to contact us and communicate to you the details. However, there may have been some miscommunications- you are correct that once the diagnostic was performed and repair began, it was determined that due to the specifics of your unit, an OEM part would be required because unlike most units, your motor bracket is welded to the motor itself. The price difference for the new motor AND motor bracket was just over $200 and at that time the service was cancelled. As outlined in the service authorization form, if a service is cancelled, you will only be invoiced for work done to that point. In this case, the assembly removed and dissembled and along with diagnostics, a total of 2 hours of work was completed. We do not charge extra fees for after- hours, or in this case, Sunday calls, so you were billed the standard labor rate for an HVAC technician. I apologize if you feel the invoice was unfair but as we discussed at length on the phone, our prices are very fair for the services we provide and we would be more than happy to continue the repair if you would like and anything you have paid to date, would be 100% applied toward that repair. If we can help you in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask.

We contracted All Season's to put in HVAC for our first floor. The job was not done according to the original agreement, they had to come back out and uninstall and reinstall. We have had several issues in the last 4 months where they have had to come out and fix the short cuts they took.

It also turns out they performed ALL of the work without a permit. The original agreement was that the permit price was part of the HVAC install. However, since the township has pressured them into fixing their paper work and filing correctly to avoid legal actions, they are now saying we owe $299 for the permit. The sneaky and underhanded practices of a company that we thought was reliable and dependable need to be addressed.

All Seasons Comfort Control Response

Hello-

I am very surprised to see that *** had an issue with the service provided by All Seasons Comfort Control. This is the first I am hearing of any issue and I am sorry to hear she is not happy. If we ever fall short of customer expectations, I always encourage them to call me directly- customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously and I welcome feed back from our customers.

That being said, I will attempt to address the concerns here but will certainly reach out offline as well.

Quality in our workmanship is a close second behind customer service when ranking what is important at All Seasons- I can 100% promise that no corners were cut and no shortcuts were taken. When reviewing the file, what I believe *** is referring to is when we returned to uninstall and reinstall the furnace at the customer's request. The system was installed correctly however, the customer wanted the unit to match the visual appearance of their other system. although there was no mechanical reason to do this, because satisfaction is so important, we completely redid the installation at our expense. We always want our customers to be happy and because they wanted the system to look different (side return as opposed to bottom return), we were happy to oblige.

Permits were discussed early on and the permit process explained. At no point were we under any pressure and at no point were we threatened with legal action. The permits were filed in a timely manor as promised. Permit fees are never included and in fact, we have a separate form clarifying the fact that permit fees are extra- please see the attached document signed and dated by the customer acknowledging permit fees are not included.

I very much hope this helps clarify the issue but if there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.

Sincerely,

Chris L
