This is my response to [redacted] false complaints towards my company. She did contact me on feb 21st about an estimate to repair her 98 ford taurus. She asked for an estimate to repair front wheel bearings and to repair a wiindshield wiper motor, I told her I would do the bearings for...

500.00 installed and that I had another taurus we were using as parts ,if the parts were interchangeable I would give her the wiper motor for free seeing as we were scraping the car. This was all said sight unseen to her car, she was also unsure of what year her car was. Once she droped the car off at my shop she said not to worry about getting it right in as she bought this vehicle as a third car and she did not need it back anytime soon, My shop manager then gave her a ride back home, as we offer this service to accommodate our customers so they dont have to worry about a ride home. Within the next couple of days we worked the car into the shop for the initial inspection, upon inspecting the car we could tell the car had been sitting for a long time ,suspension components were rusted badly, the wheel bearings were falling off the car,the tires were bald to point of steel belts hanging out of them, this was unsafe to drive and could not do an alignment because of tires, also her car is older than the parts car I had so the wiper motors were not interchangeable. I contacted [redacted]bout the job and told her our used wiper would not work do to difference in age, I stuck with the original estimate on the wheel bearings even though it was going to take longer to repair due to rust, no problem, I will eat the extra labor just to help her out. I also told her a new wiper motor  was 150.00 installed an I would include part of the wiper motor labor in with the wheel bearings to keep the price down for her because she had stated she only had so much allotted money for this repair. That brings total to 650.00 plus tax, she was ok with this estimate and once again told us to take our time this is a third vehicle that I do not need at the moment, plus she had told us she was having trouble getting the title for the car at the time.Keep in mind she did not tow this car to my shop, she drove it here with no insurance and fictitious plates seeing as she did not have a title at this time. The shop work flow had picked up we became a few days back logged due to unforeseen large jobs coming in, so I parked her car in our rear lot, which regular day to day traffic does not have access to, very safe parking. the vehicle sat here for the next week. [redacted] had no contact with me at all and since this was not a pressing job I felt I had time to get caught up with the new work that came in and would get back on her car as soon as possible. The very next time I spoke with her was on 3-7-18 she stated she would like to have the car before the weekend,I told her that would not be a problem and I would have the car ready friday afternoon since we already had the wheel bearings done and all I had left to do was the wiper motor and repair wiring that was needed to fix the issue with her wipers. The vehicle was inside my shop friday morning as I was working on her wipers [redacted] came into my shop and began yelling at my shop manager, she was so loud that my other worker had stopped to see what all the yelling was about. she began to cuss at my shop manager and disrespect him and my business, this is when I stepped in and tried to show her the additional problems with her car, she had no concern with that and continued to be irate. I also tried to show her that I was giving her 2 used tires for free to do her alignment, she continued to cuss at me, so that was when I told her to leave my shop because of her actions, and I am taking the used tires off, putting her original tires back on and not completing the wiper motor and wiper motor wiring for free. (why should I help someone out that disrespects me and my company like that.)Not to mention I had customers here the whole time she had her temper tantrum, (witnesses are available if needed.) She had also stated that her and her attorney had been trying to call me for days and I was unreachable, she also said she had to rent a car because I still had this one here at the shop. These were lies, because when I spoke with her boyfriend I was apologetic about having the car for so long didn't mean for them to rent a car, and if she needed the car she should have told me it was a rush and I would have pushed it through faster. He then replied we dont have an attorney, and  we did not rent a car. These are all lies that she was telling me to make me feel bad for her. They then left the shop and I thought I was done with this problematic customer when her boyfriend returned an hour later, stating that [redacted] told him to  come back to the shop and complain about damage on the bumpers and driver side of the car.I stated to him that all the marks on the vehicle were there when she dropped it off with me, I take great pride in returning vehicles to customers in better shape than when they drop them off and I guarantee that no damage was done to her car. This was just another lie she was throwing on the pile. He was understanding and was apologetic for how she acted. I told him (not to worry about it everybody has a bad day from time to time and I was not going to hold a grudge, if she wants to calm down she can bring the car back next week and I will finish the repair for her, because I do not hold a grudge on someone for having a bad day.) But now seeing as she is severely lying about my company and slandering me online I will not be finishing this repair for her. I refuse to do work for someone that disrespects me. Also no one here would ever laugh in a customers face, that is unprofessional and would never happen here.Je[redacted]
