Dear Revdex.com:Mr *** made a reservation through his booking agent, *** We honored his booking by reserving the room and charged the room deposit to do so, per published policy Both *** and All Seasons Groveland Inn reached out to Mr *** to inform
him that he could only cancel using the *** system and not with the lodging business directly Our contract with *** states that we will hold the room for a guest until *** releases the room to be opened for sale again Mr*** failed to cancel his booking within the published cancellation period so that the room could be released for resale in a timely manner; therefore, the deposit was not returned.You may verify these facts with *** at customer.service@*** or 1-***, as I consulted with them regarding Mr***'s situation several times.Sincerely,*** ***, InnkeeperAll Seasons Groveland Inn

Review: After cancelation of reservation more then three weeks in advance and ten days in advance through [redacted] inn keeper agreed to refund room rate.a cancellation fee is 38 dollars was paid in agreement.on the 22nd of august a phone call was made directly to Inn keeper fir a second time one week prior to reservation date about refund and was told it would be refunded immediately. Contacted September 1 .inn keeper says she will not refund ...the cancelation fee was paid three weeks in advance now she is backtracking to try and keep room fee illegaly.Desired Settlement: I have asked repeatedly for charges to b credited back to my credit card.

Dear Revdex.com:I have already responded regarding this complaint. I have explained that both [redacted] and All Seasons Groveland Inn followed our policies, as published. I have explained that both of us did our best to explain to Mr [redacted] that only [redacted] could cancel the booking, since he made the booking through that agency. He was told that he could only have gotten a return of funds if and when he actually cancelled through his booking agent ([redacted]). He was informed of this matter repeatedly by All Seasons Groveland Inn staff and by [redacted] staff. Mr [redacted] did not cancel within the 7-day grace period through [redacted]. He did not actually cancel until August 26, 2015, for the booking he scheduled for arrival on August 29, 2015. I have reviewed this matter with [redacted] and they (I spoke with May at 6:20pm 9-26-2015) recommend that the tax and energy fee of $22.40 be returned to Mr. [redacted]'s credit card since he actually cancelled the booking and we will not keep those fees, only the cancellation fee of $179. The return transaction for $22.40 was completed on 9/26/2015 at 06:25:00. I trust this action will complete the request for funds to be returned. I am rejecting this response because:This is a joke..I was already charged $38 dollars to cancel the reservation along with the $ 179 dollar room fee...this is completely absurd ..I want the $ 179 dollar room fee returned or iam going to sue the all seasons groveland inn and booking .com.This is completely unprofessional besides the fact that I had the inn keepers word.. she would take care of the refund herself.. which was an obvious lie..[redacted] is a thief..plain and simple and should be dealt with as such this is no small matter..only wonder how many times this has happened before..this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
