This customer has requested that I refund payment for cabinets that she feels are not up to her standards of quality. Part of the services to be provide are installation and touch up of these cabinets. Without the ability to complete the install the final product cannot be achieved. Touch up and...

caulking would be done during the install that would create a finished look. I assured the customer that if she were not happy with the finish at that time that they would be lightly sanded and resprayed. She is also concerned about chipping in areas that are not visible after the install. 2 cabinets are of concern, one being the microwave cabinet which she says is too low. this can be changed to her liking. The other is a corner cabinet that was changed without consulting the customer. I was willing to change this to her liking. I have never had a customer complain about the condition of their cabinets after they were installed of pick them apart before install.  At this point we are going to court to resolve this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:Here is a link to an album that I shared regarding the damaged cabinets that I received: https://goo.gl/photos/HBYCkqNh9BgPsRzHA If you look at the pictures, you will see there is no way to "lightly sand" to remedy the finish on these cabinets. They would need to be sanded down completely, resprayed in several light layers (as they should've been in the first place but clearly were not) and allowed to dry in between each. The paint has completely shrunk away from every edge because of the shoddy paint job when it was in his shop. I don't know how he expects me to have faith he could even spray these in one layerin my homewithout ruining everything around them and magically not have this shrinking issue. This is why I had other professionals in the industry evaluate these cabinets. Not one of them would've accepted these as a "new" product, much less a "custom" cabinet standard as Mr. [redacted] insists they are.      He states that "touch up and caulking would be done during the install that would create a finished look," but when I spoke with other industry professionals, they said they would never allow this kind of product to go to a client, nor expect that they could "patch" their mistakes in the clients home. He is talking about sanding and spraying inside of my home. That's ridiculous and not a practice that I'm willing to allow nor should it need to happen. He has delivered a shoddy product to my home and uses the excuse that "he didn't get a chance to finish them."    He also states that I'm "concerned about chipping in areas that are not visible after install," but the DOORS are visible every day and he put holes in them; the shelves are visible all the time and they are chipped and falling apart just from being moved here. Not to mention the bases of the cabinets are cracked and crumbling: they will be subject to moisture as they are right under the sink and next to the dishwasher; any moisture will immediately ruin them as he chose particle board even after I told him I hated particle board. I paid for brand new cabinets, not CHIPPED, broken, falling apart cabinets that will have to be caulked and glued back together INSIDE OF MY HOUSE.   He says "2 cabinets are of concern" when in reality, all of the cabinets are a concern because he did not make the panels symmetrical. He has never once offered a remedy for this MAJOR mistake. One panel is a full inch wider than the other. It looks ridiculous.   Additionally, he admits to changing the corner cabinet without consulting me. He did offer to remedy this; however, he then says he offered to alter the microwave cabinet: he did not. He said that he would install it as is, because I had renderings and I should've pointed out his inability to measure before he started construction.    For more detail, please read the attached emails.   Please let me know if it's possible to make sure this impacts his Revdex.com.

Like I said be fore, We are going to court. I no longer wish to discuss this in this forum.
