I am rejecting this response because: the part of the counter we had previously attempted to cut was 3 inches from the edge on a 10 foot countertop (I have the receipt for proof that it was a 10 foot size) to see if the blade we had would be sufficient to cut the countertop, which it was not, so we stopped.  We used approximately 7 of those feet for the countertop, leaving some left over.  It was measured incorrectly by Crew Maintenance, we had two independent contractors look at the cabinet and state that it was measured incorrectly and set incorrectly, causing nearly a half inch gap behind the countertop between it and the wall, it was so wide, we were unable to find back splash that would fill that entire gap.  This was due to Crew Maintenance not measuring correctly.  I assume this is beause one of the two men that were sent was new to the job (which caused other plumbing issues that were later fixed, but left us without water for a while).  The water lines were outdated, but the new employee at Crew Maintenance had snapped a pipe or set it incorrectly, which was 100% their fault as neither me nor my wife were under the sink.  It was fixed at no extra cost because they were the ones who broke it.  The reason the water line to the fridge was done at no extra cost is because the we had to keep pushing the start date back, or Crew Maintenance would be unable to show up for the scheduled time.  This was offered before any work had begun, and was accepted as an apology for being delayed as he said it would only be about an hour's worth of work.  It ended up being more of a project than he had anticipated, however, when we showed him the house, he acknowledged that it would be a short job and we signed for an hour.We informed them that work was sloppy (not including additional plumbing that was done, which was also sloppy) and we had to have another company come in and completely start over.  I sent Crew Maintenance pictures of our issues, which he did state he would fix when it was convienent, but a lot of it we ended up fixing ourselves or hiring another company who was insured and licensed.  We had to pay to have our countertops done twice due to lackluster quality of labor.  We want to move on, but I don't think it's fair to have to pay $400 for work that was of very poor quality, and for the trash we had to pick up when they left.  One of the employees of Crew Maintenance did admit with me on the phone that he was in a hurry to leave and apoligized for the trash, which I stated was not a huge deal, so we cleaned it up ourselves.Instead of deciding to give Crew Maintenance ANOTHER chance (as each project was supposed to take 2 days tops, and each took over a week, many of those days we did not have running water), we opted to go with someone with better credentials.  This individual suggested we seek legal action, we do not want to take that route.  Instead, we emailed Crew Maintenance at the email that is listed on their bill, but received nothing back.  I had previously texted an employee asking for it to be fixed, but a mutual decision was made between my wife and I to just start over with someone else, as enough damage had been done (improper installation of countertop, broken trim on the floor, a broken wood panel that was converted into an access point that was not refilled nor fixed).
