It should not take 10 calls of trying to arrange a key duplication. The "owner" Daniel K[redacted] and his associates do not communicate with each other nor listen to details. After continued persistence on my part and continually reminding them of my need for key, what vehicle, the VIN and the car dealership from which it was purchased, they still couldn't get it right. They did not show up for the first appointment (that was finally nailed down after seven calls) because they were stuck out of town. I finally had to call to find this out because they did not bother to inform me. The next day they did not show up because they can't take down proper address information and did not have the street address correct. Then the third attempt involved the caveman they sent to my house who would not leave the key because he did not know who to charge it to even though that information had been given on every single previous call. He was very rude to my daughter and when the owner was called he was extremely rude when all the incompetence was detailed for him. He said I could pick up the key at his office. That, of course, is not happening. At this moment, the person who came to my house today is in possession of a key for my daughter's vehicle and will not relinquish it. The ONLY reason I did not switch companies sooner is because this key is being paid for by the car lot owner and this is the vendor he told me to call. All Star Lockout, including Daniel, was told this over and over. As a consumer, I want to know if ALL of his employees, who including the one who was at my house today, has undergone a criminal background check and is licensed to perform these services. Based on their described lack of organization and professionalism, I highly doubt it.
