Review: I booked to have movers from All Star moving company to come move my furniture from my apartment. The supervisor [redacted] asked me to give a detail description of what I needed to move. She then gave me a price of $848.10 and prior to the movers coming I was required to give half of that amount which is $425 as a deposit. I paid that with no problem. However, upon the day of the move the movers came, I was told that they did not have the enough space for my items. The moving supervisor told me that I would need to purchase additional space which brought up the quote to around 2600 which was triple the original amount. The supervisor [redacted] did not honor the terms of the contract by telling me one thing and putting in the report to the drivers another[redacted] originally asked what items was I moving, I advised a sectional couch, mirror/dresser queen size mattress, 7-10 bins and boxes a piece and a tv, she advised that would be perfect for the move. Once the movers arrived the moving supervisor advised after viewing the sectional and mirror/dresser that he didn't have enough space. She completly ran a scam, because when the driver showed me the report he showed me that she only put in the bare minimal amount as compared to my report when she asked me to detail what I had in my apartment. Therefore I want full reimbursed my deposit of $425. I had to take off work and miss class in order to meet with the movers for them to leave without my items, but my full deposit. When I called to speak with [redacted] she became hostile, cutting me off and she also proceeded to hang up in my face. I called back and she hung up yet again. Never have I experience such unprofessionalism in a work setting. She should not be in a supervisor role if she cannot handle herself in effective and client centered way especially with her working in a customer service arena.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my entire deposit back to the card that was used.

Review: Our job # [redacted], we were quoted a total moving estimate of $3748 and when I wanted to cancel we were told that we would get money back from this because they over bid us and we did not have that much stuff. I even sent other bids over that she said we would not want to use because they used square feet and that would cost more. The girls name was [redacted] and after speaking to her and her getting out money she never returned our calls. When the movers arrived ([redacted]) they even said they under bid us to and that out cost was now going to be $8500 (we are young professionals and do not have that kind of money nor could we afford it at that time) the movers came at 8pm and were there until 1030pm which meant that we were unable to call anyone from moving [redacted] because of hours. We had a week to get across the country so we had no other choice. With all of our stuff we ended up taking out our kitchen table and chairs, a large recliner and some boxes to cut cost that were all on our inventory sheet. After out things were packed we had to $2400 and then when they unpacked us it would be $1950 because we had already paid a $1236.84 deposit. The next morning we noticed of the things they did not pack a watch was stolen and when we contacted quality assurance at [redacted] they said ([redacted] the manager) they would not help and they would not do anything about it. The movers never weighed out stuff and after talked to the manager he was mad about the watch and said we would get a refund from the watch. When the truck arrived no men showed up and he said they could in the morning but he had a job 4hrs away so I dont know how that would work. Me and my fiance unloaded the truck and even the driver reported how badly it was pack (they moved it from one truck to another) and as I unpacked I had to look at all of the broken and damaged items.Desired Settlement: We had to pay $1900 at drop off to pay for the people to unload. They never came so I would like that money back. We had to pay in cash so that Is how I would like it back. This has been the worst experience and I never wish it on anyone! We asked for the other money from the broker who mislead us but that is another case.
