Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I wanted it to be known that we were told verbally and in a voicemail I have saved that we had been given the house to live in I did say in my email that I knew we had not signed papers but I did not think a company could so easily take back an offer when it has to do with people's homesAll of this happened in the time frame of a weekWe filled out the application on Thursday, were told we had the house on Sunday then on Tuesday we were told we did notI believe the application from the other family was taken AFTER we had already been told we had the houseThis to me is unethical Also, to clarify, we actually were given a date of Friday that we could get keys and move in, so her comment is incorrectAs far as finding us a house, the one she found was smaller and did not accommodate our needsI do not appreciate her trying to make it sound like we were uncooperative This agent and this company practice unethical transactions I understand nothing illegal was done but in the end their business came close to putting a family on the streetI had to miss two days of work making phone calls and sending emails to find a place to live I hope this better explains what was done to us and why this complaint was filedSomeone needs to stand up for us Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: "It was not brought to my attention until the middle of November that repairs needed to be performed on the house, not 2015." As far as this comment, I have nothing to say except that it is a lieWe called many times and left several messages stating what we needed done, beginning in the end (October/November) of when the shed first blew down "In November, 2016, I was very sick with bronchitis and a sinus infectionIn an effort to get the problems repaired, I asked my assistant to go out and inspect the property so we may provide a list of the repairs to the owner for final approval." ***, the Property Manager, did let me know that she had been sick, but that is no reason to neglect the tenantIf you are not available for work, she should have delegated it to someone else [redacted] did, however, have [redacted] come out and take pictures on her cell phone in December of the maintenance issues that needed fixed [redacted] came and took pictures on a Tuesday and told me to call [redacted] on that Friday as she would be back in town [redacted] told me to ask her the update on getting the repairs fixedWhen I called [redacted] on Friday, she told me she was in the airport, and that she still needed to contact the owners of the property to have them come byThis made me question the purpose of [redacted] coming out, because we were still in the same spot as before she came out and took pictures [redacted] then told me that she wouldn't be able to come out until January 3rd, and I told her this was unacceptable because we had been waiting a long time for these to be fixed, and because our garage door was stuck in an open position, stray cats and animals were getting in the garage and urinating on our thingsI did not scream at her, I have a witness to that fact as my Mother and Brother-in-law were in the house when I was having this conversation [redacted] started saying that she "can't deal with this right now" and was saying things that made me think she was going to hang upI then said "***, do not hang up on me." and that is when she hung up the phoneI did not scream at her, I did not ridicule her, I did not cuss at her, I simply wanted things to be taken care of, and I still doSince this conversation, I have not heard from her or [redacted] , to this day " The tenant again kept screaming at me and I asked her to not disrespect me and scream at me as I was trying to get the issues resolved, then she hung up on me." This is a lieAs I stated in the original complaint, she is the one who hung up on me " It is the owners right to do the repairs themselves or contract out the repairs themselvesOur hands are tied until the owner gets back to us." I completely understand thisThe reason I am complaining to the Revdex.com is because every time I actually got a hold of her, she told me that she still had to contact the ownersAfter or or times of hearing this it gets a little ridiculous, especially when she said she will contact the owners and then I find out that right after that, she left for a vacation...? Seems a little neglectful to me " I actually called the owner sooner than I told the tenant on 12/31/and the owner agreed to do the repairs and we notified the tenant on 01/02/this fact and let her know that the repairs were scheduled to be completed on FR 01/13/17." As I said, I still have not heard from [redacted] since the phone call on Tuesday December 27thI heard that she had called [redacted] , my Father-in-law who is also on the lease, telling him that she would only speak with him, and not me because she thought I was rude [redacted] told me that she made an appointment on Friday, January 6th, to come out with the ownersShe told [redacted] that on that day, the owner would try to complete all the repairsFriday morning, January 6th, she called [redacted] (my mothlate) and said that she would not be making it because of a communication error with the ownersShe then rescheduled it to January 13th, " I told her I would only speak to her dad and I called him to schedule the repairs on 01/13/and he instructed us to hold off on the repairs until they all move out." I am not aware of what [redacted] told her, but I am not OK with her waiting to fix the repairs unless I receive a written agreement from her saying that she will not charge us for any of the maintenance on the list I gave when she does a walk-through after we move out " It clearly states in the tenants lease agreement that all repairs with the property need to be provided to the property manager in writing which was never done." I was not aware of this, and I should have been up to date on the rules of this, however I was notWhen I originally got a hold of the company to tell them the repairs that needed done, [redacted] told me to text [redacted] the list and that she would get it taken care ofI did text her that list, but I was not told over the phone anything about writing down a physical list and turning it inIf they would have asked me to do that back in November I would have All in all, I believe [redacted] skewed the truth in her response to the Revdex.com and I am not happy about thatHowever, all I want is two things To know that the maintenance issues I gave the Revdex.com will not be charged to us when we move out To inform future tenants with the company of All-Star Property Management that they are very difficult to work with, very hard to get a hold of, and they do not respect their tenants what-so-ever

Yes, when we received their application, that was the only application that we had at that timeWe subsequently received another application shortly after receiving theirsWe made no promises or guarantee to rent to them or set any dates to move in When both sets of screening reports
were complete, we forwarded both of them to the ownerWe made no biased decision either way on which applicants to accept because both were well qualifiedThe owner ultimately choose the other set of applicants since they were willing to do a longer term month lease and this applicant said they wanted a short term lease and want to start looking for a house to purchase in April or May so they may want to terminate/break the lease earlyIt is my obligation to the owner to disclose all known material facts and as a result, the owner choose the applicants who were planning on staying longer in the propertyI expressed to the applicants that I was sorry that this happened and I informed the applicants that the owner ultimately chooses the applicants, not myself as a property manager The owner felt safer to go with applicants that would stay longer and not intend to potentially try to break the lease earlyBefore I called the applicants, I even found them another property that I received pre-approval from the owner for a short term lease and the applicants rejected the propertyI made every effort to help the applicants but due the high demand and low inventory, I was unable to find them a suitable short term lease on a property they would approveI offered the applicants a copy of their applications so they can use these for other potential properties and not incur the screening cost againUnfortunately, we used a separate company for applicant screening and their fees are non refundable and that is posted on the website to be clearly seen prior to submitting tenant screening applications

THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER OF OURSTHIS IS A TENANT THAT BROKE THERE LEASE THEY SIGNED A LEASE TILL MAY 31ST WE TOLD THEM THAT THEY COULD MOVE OUT AS SOON AS WE HAD A NEW TENANT TO RENT THERE HOMETHEY NEVER TOLD US THAT THIS WAS A TEMPORARY HOMEWHY DID THEY SIGN A YOUR LEASE? THEY
LEAFT THE HOME IN VERY BAD CONDITION A PET ODER SMELL & FECES ALL OVER THEY YARDTHEY STILL OWE $IN OLD RENT & DAMAGESI'M SORRY THEY BROKE THERE LEASEIT TOOK MONTH TO RE-RENT THERE HOMETHEY MOVED OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINTERTHE WORSE TIME TO TRY TO RENT

To whom it may concern:This letter is in response to complaint filed to the Revdex.com regarding a recent tenancy from from 06/02/thru 05/31/The tenants say they were looking for temporary housing, yet still signed a one year leaseThe tenants notified us that they wished to terminate the lease in December, and we informed them that we would allow an early termination of the lease as long as they paid the rent until a new tenant was secured and moved into the propertyThe owner had talked about putting the house up for sale but decided against itThe tenants went ahead and moved out in the middle of winter by 01/01/which was the worst time of the year to rent out the propertyThe rental market was slow until March wen we subsequently rented out the the house on 03/16/16.Prior to the tenants moving into the house, the home was renovated by refinishing the hardwood floors, installing new vinyl floors in the kitchen and bath and completely repainted the interior of the homeThe tenants claim that the house was in poor condition is unfoundedI will provide photos of the condition of the house prior to move inUpon move in, we notified the tenants that the garage door was being replaced and had to be ordered and was installed within days of their move inThe tenant notified us that there car had been stolen prior to the new garage door was being installed but fortunately they did get it backSince the install of the garage door, we hadn't heard any other issues or complaints from the tenants until about November when they notified us that their front door was kicked inThat day, I sent my maintenance guy to the location to fix the doorThe tenant told the maintenance person that it was no big deal that he would take care of it himselfMy maintenance guy who lives directly next door to the house had heard the tenants fighting the night before and then the next day the tenants report that someone kicked in the door? He thought they kicked in the door themselves but that can not be verified. We have been very fair and have only charged the tenants for the lost rent we incurred plus the cleanup of the dog feces in the yardThey had dogs permitted on the lease and had allowed the dogs to produce a litter of approximately to puppiesYes, there was an excessive amount of feces that the tenants left for us to clean upBy the way, the owner, had to pay for approximately months of water, sewer, trash, electricity and gas which the owner did not insist that the tenants pay even though that was a provision of the lease agreementThe property was in good condition, well maintained and the tenants have no grounds for these accusations

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Upon deciphering your illiteracy, it seems that you are now changing your story to make us seem like former negligent tenants who are attempting to skip out on rent and are now disgruntled at the final bill. Unfortunately I have to reiterate my former statement: You are suddenly charging my wife and I over $3,000. We left the house in much better condition than we had received it. The only charge on our final bill was for "picking up feces" which was well over $100 (As if we owned a circus elephant) The reason it took so long for you to find new tenants is because you raised the rent on a property that is questionably legally habitable to date. You have chosen not to acknowledge the main reason we fled the residence "fear for our safety" and now you are pathetically attempting to reduce our circumvention as "breaking a lease agreement." It is clear that you have no concept of morality.

It was not brought to my attention until the middle of November 2016 that repairs needed to be performed on the house, not 2015.  In November, 2016, I was very sick with bronchitis and a sinus infection. In an effort to get the problems repaired,  I asked my assistant to go out...

and inspect the property so we may provide a list of the repairs to the owner for final approval. We scheduled and made a list of the repairs that needed to be made and sent photos to the owner around Christmas when I was on vacation in California. The tenant called me on 12/30/16 as I was getting ready to board a plane to return home from vacation. I told the tenant that we have not yet got a response from the owner to commence with the repairs. I told her that even though we are the property manager, it is the owner's ultimate decision on what repairs are to be performed and all repairs have to be approved before we can schedule the repairs. The tenant became very irate and started screaming at me and told me that was not acceptable.  Since we were traveling and it was the day before new years eve, I told her I would call the owner on 01/3/17 after the holiday. The tenant again kept screaming at me and I asked her to not disrespect me and scream at me as I was trying to get the issues resolved, then she hung up on me. It is the owners right to do the repairs themselves or contract out the repairs themselves. Our hands are tied until the owner gets back to us. I actually called the owner sooner than I told the tenant on 12/31/17 and the owner agreed to do the repairs and we notified the tenant on 01/02/17 this fact and let her know that the repairs were scheduled to be completed on FR 01/13/17. On 01/06/17, the tenant notified us that she intended to move out of the premises by 01/31/17. Since I couldn't talk to the tenant without her yelling at me, I told her I would only speak to her dad and I called him to schedule the repairs on 01/13/17 and he instructed us to hold off on the repairs until they all move out.It clearly states in the tenants lease agreement that all repairs with the property need to be provided to the property manager in writing which was never done. We received a phone call from the tenant who was very upset about the repairs that needed to be made.  I'm sorry that the tenant was unhappy, however, we did notify the owner for the repairs and unfortunately had to wait for the owner to respond to us which was not timely enough for the tenant. We were strictly forbidden by the terms of the owner's management agreement to perform any and all repairs to the property without written authorization to do so. We wish the tenant success in their future ventures.

As property managers, we forward their application as well as the other application which we received the next day after their application was received. The owner was planning on give the house to this applicant but the owner asked me to clarify how long each applicant was planning on staying in the house. Since this applicant had told us they were planning on buying a house in April or May which was only 6 months and the other applicant wanted to stay for 18 months, the owner changed their mind and selected the other applicants. I'm sorry this happen, but based on the new information that the applicant gave me of their intent to break the lease, it was my obligation to disclose that fact to the owner. As a result of the new information, the owner changed their mind and selected the another applicants. I'm not sure what else can be said about this. There was no malice or intent to deceive the applicant, simply an issue of the owner who had changed their mind.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
"It was not brought to my attention until the middle of November 2016 that repairs needed to be performed on the house, not 2015."
As far as this comment, I have nothing to say except that it is a lie. We called many times and left several messages stating what we needed done, beginning in the end (October/November) of 2015 when the shed first blew down.
"In November, 2016, I was very sick with bronchitis and a sinus infection. In an effort to get the problems repaired,  I asked my assistant to go out and inspect the property so we may provide a list of the repairs to the owner for final approval."
[redacted], the Property Manager, did let me know that she had been sick, but that is no reason to neglect the tenant. If you are not available for work, she should have delegated it to someone else. [redacted] did, however, have [redacted] come out and take pictures on her cell phone in December of the maintenance issues that needed fixed. [redacted] came and took pictures on a Tuesday and told me to call [redacted] on that Friday as she would be back in town. [redacted] told me to ask her the update on getting the repairs fixed. When I called [redacted] on Friday, she told me she was in the airport, and that she still needed to contact the owners of the property to have them come by. This made me question the purpose of [redacted] coming out, because we were still in the same spot as before she came out and took pictures. [redacted] then told me that she wouldn't be able to come out until January 3rd, and I told her this was unacceptable because we had been waiting a long time for these to be fixed, and because our garage door was stuck in an open position, stray cats and animals were getting in the garage and urinating on our things. I did not scream at her, I have a witness to that fact as my Mother and Brother-in-law were in the house when I was having this conversation. [redacted] started saying that she "can't deal with this right now" and was saying things that made me think she was going to hang up. I then said "[redacted], do not hang up on me." and that is when she hung up the phone. I did not scream at her, I did not ridicule her, I did not cuss at her, I simply wanted things to be taken care of, and I still do. Since this conversation, I have not heard from her or [redacted], to this day.
" The tenant again kept screaming at me and I asked her to not disrespect me and scream at me as I was trying to get the issues resolved, then she hung up on me."
This is a lie. As I stated in the original complaint, she is the one who hung up on me.
" It is the owners right to do the repairs themselves or contract out the repairs themselves. Our hands are tied until the owner gets back to us."
I completely understand this. The reason I am complaining to the Revdex.com is because every time I actually got a hold of her, she told me that she still had to contact the owners. After 3 or 4 or 5 times of hearing this it gets a little ridiculous, especially when she said she will contact the owners and then I find out that right after that, she left for a vacation...? Seems a little neglectful to me.
" I actually called the owner sooner than I told the tenant on 12/31/17 and the owner agreed to do the repairs and we notified the tenant on 01/02/17 this fact and let her know that the repairs were scheduled to be completed on FR 01/13/17."
As I said, I still have not heard from [redacted] since the phone call on Tuesday December 27th. I heard that she had called [redacted], my Father-in-law who is also on the lease, telling him that she would only speak with him, and not me because she thought I was rude. [redacted] told me that she made an appointment on Friday, January 6th, 2017 to come out with the owners. She told [redacted] that on that day, the owner would try to complete all the repairs. Friday morning, January 6th, she called [redacted] (my mother-in late) and said that she would not be making it because of a communication error with the owners. She then rescheduled it to January 13th, 2016.
" I told her I would only speak to her dad and I called him to schedule the repairs on 01/13/17 and he instructed us to hold off on the repairs until they all move out."
I am not aware of what [redacted] told her, but I am not OK with her waiting to fix the repairs unless I receive a written agreement from her saying that she will not charge us for any of the maintenance on the list I gave when she does a walk-through after we move out.
" It clearly states in the tenants lease agreement that all repairs with the property need to be provided to the property manager in writing which was never done."
I was not aware of this, and I should have been up to date on the rules of this, however I was not. When I originally got a hold of the company to tell them the repairs that needed done, [redacted] told me to text [redacted] the list and that she would get it taken care of. I did text her that list, but I was not told over the phone anything about writing down a physical list and turning it in. If they would have asked me to do that back in November I would have.
All in all, I believe [redacted] skewed the truth in her response to the Revdex.com and I am not happy about that. However, all I want is two things.
1. To know that the maintenance issues I gave the Revdex.com will not be charged to us when we move out.
2. To inform future tenants with the company of All-Star Property Management that they are very difficult to work with, very hard to get a hold of, and they do not respect their tenants what-so-ever.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I wanted it to be known that we were told verbally and in a voicemail I have saved that we had been given the house to live in.  I did say in my email that I knew we had not signed papers but I did not think a company could so easily take back an offer when it has to do with people's homes. All of this happened in the time frame of a week. We filled out the application on Thursday,  were told we had the house on Sunday then on Tuesday we were told we did not. I believe the application from the other family was taken AFTER we had already been told we had the house. This to me is unethical.
Also, to clarify, we actually were given a date of Friday that we could get keys and move in, so her comment is incorrect. As far as finding us a house, the one she found was smaller and did not accommodate our needs. I do not appreciate her trying to make it sound like we were uncooperative.
This agent and this company practice unethical transactions.  I understand nothing illegal was done but in the end their business came close to putting a family on the street. I had to miss two days of work making phone calls and sending emails to find a place to live.
I hope this better explains what was done to us and why this complaint was filed. Someone needs to stand up for us.
Sincerely,[redacted]

All star is very helpful and they care about your needs when renting form they. I believe they are great

Great experience. They are friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends!

The owner agreed to provide me with a positive reference in exchange for withdrawing my last review, and has now failed to uphold that agreement.
This company is a sham. The owner is a mn with no understanding of how to run a business, or how to manage property. She fails to respond to calls, does not have an office to visit, and is generally unavailable.
In addition, the property that I was renting was small and poorly maintained, yet after she took over management she insisted that I pay an additional $100 per month in rent. I refused, and she gave me 20 days noticed. After I left, she used my deposit to remodel the apartment and accused me of damaging the property.
I would not rent from All Star Property Management. They want money for nothing. They will lie to you. They will be unavailable. They will do everything they can to cheat you out of your money, and your sanity.
To you, it's a home, but to them, it's just a way to make money.

All Star Property Management managed our property for many years. They are professional and responsive to our concerns. Their expertise made being absentee land lord so much less stressful. They communicate well and know the business and how to get things done in a timely manner. They really go above and beyond!

The company is by far the easiest property management company to deal with! I spent a lot of time looking through companies and all I was finding was scams, and people who didn't know what they were doing. This company quickly responds to my calls, and is pleasant to work with. Thank you!!

It is with 100% confidence that I recommend All Star for all your real estate and property management needs. I had completely given up on being a home owner of a rental property after our last property manager. [redacted] and [redacted] have restored my dream of having this property in my investment portfolio. They are available when ever I need them and communicate with me about everything I need to know. Their experience and strategies for keeping my property rented at top dollar amaze me. We are getting more rent and the safety of knowing our utilities are covered every month. We have been completely screwed over by tenants when we tried to manage the property ourselves and even more screwed over by a terrible property manager ( that is high on the list when you google property managers in Spokane). [redacted] was recommended to us by a friend who owns many properties. I was so scared to trust someone again but they have been amazing since day 1. They work very hard everyday for their properties and I tell [redacted] every time I talk to her to keep doing what she is doing because you cant go wrong when you run a business like this so ethically and with so much heart. I know they care about my success as a property owner and I sleep way better at night with them on my side. Thanks [redacted] and [redacted]! I tell everyone I know about you guys! My in laws and our other friends that own rentals all plan to call the next time they have tenant turn over.

I would endorse and recommend All Star Property Management wholeheartedly. They been the property manager on our house for 4 years and never failed to go above and beyond to protect my property and tenants. They are always available to go to the property. They have an outstanding team of contractors for all those issues that come up on older homes, and at very fair pricing.
If you're looking for a property manager you'll find them to be professional, skilled, knowledgeable and personable.

Everyone at All Star Property is so very nice and helpful... works with you... makes repairs when needed... best landlords I've EVER had! Been here 4 years and no complaints yet! Very, very pleased with them and will tell all my friends about them

Review: Contacted landlord in an timely matter on 7/19 about my water heater they refuse to fix it I have 4 children in the home and We need hot water they told me I have to wait 4 days for someone to fix It I think this is not right for them to not want to make necessary repairs in the home like the refridgarater that has never been fixed or the windows that leak when it rainsDesired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE REPAIRS HANDLED
