Review: On 12/**/2013 I signed the contact with All Star Service and Maintenance Inc about the installation of the cap on the top of chimney.

I have this contract on my hand.

I was promised that the job will be done in one week, but today, January ** 2014, and during all those days I can't reach All Star Service and Maintenance Inc

Nobody answer the phones or reply to voice messages I left on their machine, they don’t replay on my emails.Desired Settlement: I don’t trust this company anymore and don’t want to have a deal with them

Review: I set an appointment for a chimney cleaning and 2 workers came to do the job. They went on the roof and in the basement and told me that I had a cave in and needed a really expensive repair. They also told me they could do a temporary repair/fix on the spot and that the other portion of the job could be done at a later time and I said I was going to find out if my insurance company would cover the damage. I called my insurance company and they said they would send someone in a few days to assess the damage. The worker said he would do the temporary job and I would pay him for that portion and he would come back on Tuesday the [redacted] which is the day the insurance people were going to assess the job. He and his co-worker never came back on the [redacted] (today) . The worker did take pictures and video of the damage and claimed they would e-mail or send them to my phone and to date I have not received those photos. The worker also gave me a cell phone number which does not work (does not accept incoming calls) and the 'business' number on the estimate left to me only goes to a voice mail. The company used a scare tactic by saying I needed an expensive repair in the thousands of dollars and saying my chimney was unsafe and could lead to CO2 poisoning. Thankfully after only laying out $400.00 for a temporary fix, my insurance company told me there was no need to rush to get the chimney re-lined immediately as it is sound.Desired Settlement: Refund the monies paid to do the "temporary fix" or make good on the repair as they claim to be a licensed and insured firm and the insurance company told me the repair was incomplete and the job was sloppy and there were places that should have been tarred and weren't. I just want them to make good on the existing repair and not think about getting a bigger job in future.
