All-State Air Control Sales

Review: I called All State Air Control Sales & Service to repair a beverage refrigerator that was not functioning properly. On 7/**/2013 a serviceman came to my residence to perform a repair and diagnosed the problem as a defective starter component and/or thermostat which he said would have to be special ordered. I asked him how much money that would cost and he said his office would call me with a quote. I was charged $ 177.17 for his service call and gave him a check for that amount.

I heard nothing back from the company for a week, so I called to inquire about the cost of the parts. I was told that some misunderstanding had occurred between the serviceman and the office (said they didn't realize I wanted the parts quote, and someone would get back to me shortly. Fyi, the serviceman indicated in writing on the service bill that a parts quote was requested.

After another passed, I called again with the same request. I was told that no information on the parts' cost had been determined yet but someone would get back to me with that information asap. A week later (now mid-August) I called again with the same request and expressed my frustration that no one had even had the courtesy to get back to me. I was told that someone would get back to me by the end of that day, but no one did. As of today, 8/**/2013, I have not received a single return call from this company and would neither do any business with them nor recommend anyone else do.Desired Settlement: I would like my $ 177.17 refunded.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. For the record, I received a phone call from [redacted], President of All- State Air Control & Services, who personally responded to my complaint. He reimbursed my $177.17 payment in full and, as such. the matter is resolved to my full satisfaction.
