I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I hung up on the tech after he told me that even though we had moved heavy furniture out of the way, he would not come that day and I would have to call the office to reschedule for another day.
Happily I found a different company that serviced the carpeting that very day.
All Steam Phoenix is a lousy company with lousy customer service.

I requested a quote through the Revdex.com. I did not get a response, so then I called the company, they called me back and set up an appointment. I had a coupon but it was for basic cleaning. The contractor (Ish N[redacted]) said my carpet would not come out clean with just the basic cleaning. He spent a lot of time on my carpet and now it looks brand new.

We keep our prices very comfortable so everyone can take advantage of our good service, all we ask is they answer the phone so we wouldn't have to drive far for customers that are not even home. All Steam cleaned our white tile in the kitchen, hallway and bathrooms, removed the dirt from the grout, and sealed the grout. It turned out beautiful! They also cleaned two carpets; one I didn't think could come clean, and both look like new again! The worker was here for 4 hours and the tile floors and carpet looked new when he left. An excellent job!
Review: I purchased a carpet cleaning service through [redacted].It was difficult contacting the company to schedule an appointment. The company does not return calls quickly.The company was scheduled to come between 11 am and 1 pm today 4/28/14. I was outside and missed a call at 10:57 am. I returned the call at 11:29 am and the guy said he would not come and that I had to call the office to reschedule.ALL THE HEAVY FURNITURE HAD BEEN MOVED OUT OF THE ROOM EARLIER TODAY. I am disabled.The office did not answer their phone. I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.Desired Settlement: I never want to do business with this company again.

Review: Bought [redacted] coupon for all Steam Phoenix and set up an appointment for Monday November 25th between 8 and 10 a.m. The company did not show up at this time and when I called they stated that we had been canceled and we had never been notified. They rescheduled for Wednesday November 27th between 12 and 2 p.m. At 145 we called the company and they said their people were running late and would be here soon. They said they would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. The company never showed up to clean the carpets. They never called us and greatly inconvenienced us as we have now moved our furniture twice and have dirty carpets before company coming over for Thanksgiving.Desired Settlement: Refund for service paid and for time moving furniture twice

Hi There, about this complaint, we tell our customers that we need to make sure that they are home,and when they don't answer the phone so we can show up and do the service we move to the next job. The customer never answered the phone and we assumes that they were not home. so there is no reason to drive over 20 miles for a customer that may not even be home for the service. We never held a payment or any moneys for service that is not done.

This company is lying about contacting us. We never received any notice on Monday (the 1st appointment), even though we had moved the furniture and waited all day. When my husband called, they said they had cancelled our appointment, though had never notified us. A new appointment was set for Wednesday, between 12 and 2pm. Again, we moved our furniture, and waited all day. At 1:45pm, when they had not shown up, we called the company an were informed that they were just running late. They stated they were on Indian School Road, and that we were next on the list. We said we would be here and they were going to call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I can show our phone records when they become available for the month that All Steam Phoenix never attempted to call my husband or I, and they never showed. To this day, we have not received a call from them, even though our voucher has been cashed through [redacted]. We need a refund for services that were not rendered.
