I resently had an chocking experiance at an Stiles Tiles outlet.First of all I orgenized my labour according to what Stiles have told me about the tiles I have bought on an Wednessday afternoon,however 4 boxes were short I was promesed that it wil be here on Monday because the other store whom have stock is +- 35km away.I then sayed it fine I wil arrange my tilers only to start on monday.Monday the Tilesrs came and we started doing prep work and star the tilling job.Just after twelf I phoned Stiles Tiles and ask for the person who assisted me,waw she was not there she whent and picked up her kid at scool,I then give my tel no to the other laydy and sayed let she phone me as soon as she came in,I even told her to put a note on her computer screen.Wel I got bussy and about 15H45 I saw that we cant get enny futher and that the tiles we short wil let us be able to finish as planed.I then jumped and went to Tiles on my arrival the lady sayed youre tiles is not hear yet and excused hersef by ansering the phone because it is an client,I was getting so agetated and whant to release my anger and keped it together because its an lady,I asked her didint the other lady give you an message to phone me and replyed no nothing,I asked did you see her when you came back by picking up youre kid at school with big eyes she sudenly realize that something is about to go wrong and appologize for every thing.I told her that she promesed me it would be here after we have drop the thought to go fetch it ouerself.Now I must wait for another day and she told my she is going to fetch it,but who must pay the tilers for the extra day to come finich the job.so where must I send the R500 invoice to and when am I going to get the money.

Review: This company installed tile for my kitchen back splash and did a poor job. The tiles are uneven and chipped. The tile is actually coming off the wall. In addition, the work is sloppy. I also took pictures for documentation. The owner came to our home in response to my complaint. The owner told my wife it was a "superb job". The owner was argumentative and disrespectful to my wife in our home. My wife had to ask the owner to leave our home because she was in fear for her safety. The owner claimed my wife is being a "racist" and slammed the front door to our home. At this point, were having another company correct their job. My wife and I are good honest hardworking people. Were respectfully requesting a refund and don't feel comfortable dealing with this organization.Desired Settlement: Refund and apology to my wife.

I was in shock to receive the letter from the Revdex.com in above mentioned case#.

The customer, ( The [redacted]'s) had the tilling done through her builder, even her back splash. She did not "hire" nor "pay" all tiles to do the job as indicated. We supplied tiles to the builder and the install was not done by all stiles. It was subcontracted.

The builder had asked me for a favor to go to the home and give my educated opinion to the complaint the customer had on the workmanship. I dutifully went down and gave my opinion; the job was a great job. It can be touched up with a minor touch up on some spots. I do apologize to the client and client as yet refused.

This customer, ([redacted]) had the tilling done through her builder, even her backsplash. she did not "hire" not "pay" all stills to do the job as indicated. We supplied tiles to the builder and the install was not done by all stilles, it was subcontracted.

The builder has asked me for a favor to go to the home and given my educated opinion to the complaint the customer had on the workmanship. I dutifully went down and have my opinion; the job was a great job. It can be touched up with a minor touchup on some spots. I do apologize to the client if she in anyway offensive.

I am aware that the 'builder" offered to do the touch up for the client and client as of yet refused.

Enclosed is the receipt from the owner of another more reputable tile company JAC creative stoneworks indicating the job All Stiles performed is "horrible". The owner of All Stiles documented in her previous response in her opinion the job performed is great. All Stiles also claims they have never received a complaint from the Better Buisness Bureau. All Stiles is currently not accredited by the Revdex.com and it took a great deal of effort by myself to establish their information to hopefully prevent this from happening to any other good people.

I have also mailed a copy of the cashed check to the Revdex.com. The owner of All Stiles realizes the builder of our home [redacted] was provided the check to pay for the tile and he gave All Stiles our money for this job.

It is unfortunate All Stiles will say anything and has absolutely zero integrity. For some reason the owner of All Stiles has been trying to attempt to make this a religious issue. The owner of All Stiles called my wife a The builder of our home [redacted] of Smith Hill Developers LLC recently sent project manager [redacted] to apologise to All Stiles and provided our family with reimbursement for the backsplash they installed. Our builder also happens to be Jewish and is a terrific man who stands behind his work which is why we used their organization. Unfortunately the good people of the better buisness bureau can only do so much with this complaint because All Stiles is lying. Anyone thinking about using this company for a job should contact all the people listed in regards to my complaint and view all of the enclosed attachments we have provided.
