How does Safeway ins. have an A+ Revdex.com rating? The Revdex.com says integrity, professionalism, and "address disputes quickly." My husband was in an accident with someone insured through Safeway. They rear-ended my husband and admitted fault. A few days go by and we hear nothing. My husband has to go to THEM, and is then unprofessionally told "we just heard about it." While that may be the case, the accident was on 7/7, and in a letter dated 7/11 they say they "have a coverage issue with the policyholder." Basically we are investigating this, go ahead and fix it yourself. My husband called but we are not allowed to know what these "coverage issues" are, or when they expect this "investigation" to be over. This person either had insurance or they didn't! This requires a 2 week investigation? Are people supposed to give them an unlimited amount of time to settle a claim?

I am NOT a policy holder of Safeway. I was involved in an accident with a policy holder and have had the displeasure of dealing with Safeway over the course of 2 months and am still not finished with it. I called the day of the accident, no answer, left voicemail. Never received a call back. I did get a call from the inspector to tell me when he would come look at it ( a week after the accident). I called the claims agent assigned to my case with questions about the estimate, repair and rental services and did not receive a call back. Over the last 2 months, I have called the claims agent about six times, only to speak with her once. I called, per her instruction, with well over 24 hour notice of taking my car in for repair so she could make a rental reservation. To be specific, I called her 4 business days prior to my repair appointment. I left her a voicemail and specifically asked for her to call me back with details of the reservation (who it was with, length of reservation, etc.). I left her 2 voicemail a day apart regarding the rental reservation. Not only did I not receive a call back, no reservation was made. I had to go through my insurance company to have the reservation made. Not a big deal, but the cost is inconvenient. Overall, I feel they are unresponsive and unreliable. I am greatly disappointed with the level of customer service provided.

Stay away from this insurance company....I was hit by one of their policy holder and itb was a miracle having to deal with them to get a settlement check cleared. the Claim Adjusters/ Rep was very rude and unprofessional. I had to make numerous calls to different numbers with no one answering the phones. I emailed the adjuster on several occasions ... took for ever to respond back. I'm surprised they are still in business in Georgia. Stay away from this Company.....the Revdex.com needs to do a better job with accredidation!!
