Robert and his crew were accommodating to my schedule. I would use them again without question. We had water damage in our basement and I couldn't get anyone to come as they considered it "a small job." Robert had no issues with the job size. Came in with his crew and completed the job. I couldn't be happier with them.

Although this company was able to assist me with some immediate water issues, the owner was extremely belligerent and threatening when it came to payment. The owner kept calling me to tell me that he wanted to discuss the project. I told him to send me a written invoice to review. He then sent me texts (which I still have), telling me that he will be picking up a check in 30 minutes no exceptions, and that I wasn't going to *** him. My wife and I were extremely shaken, and I will be contacting the local police department. I left him a check in my mailbox, and didn't even dispute the charges, to get rid of him. I also blocked my phone number. I would strongly recommend that the strong arm tactics that were used against me when using this business be investigated. I have never done business with any contractor in this fashion, and hope others don't experience what I encountered. Please be sure that this information is passed along.

CONTRACTORS & OTHERS BE AWARE OF THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE & PERSONALITIES. Only few of the consumers post great reviews, but when something goes awry customers go ape crazy on social media & review sites to try and vomit all over the contractors or companies. Here on the Revdex.com you at least get to read both side to a story. This is exactly why we are members of the Revdex.com. So you be the judge and read on to see why we received only 1 Star. :(
The client/owners "Bailey's" should have probably of told the truth if they are going to slander or bash a company/contractor on social media and other "Reviews" websites. Hi guys, as many of you may already know I'm Robert *** with All Tech Builders & Restoration. We've helped 100's of customers like yourselves who are doing research, reading reviews before starting a project. We've been helping people all over Northshore Area for over 20+ years with projects and water issues.
Issue #1 The "client" Bailey's first contacted us July of 2017 with flooding/water damage issues in there basement. They signed our Work Authorization Mitigation Worksheet and we went to work like any normal flood job. We quickly responded and assessed the water entry issue with our thermal imaging equipment to where the water was entering the basement. We found 5 active foundation cracks on the foundation wall. After removing all the wet materials trim, drywall, insulation, padding etc. and salvaging the carpet we set up our equipment fans & dehumidifiers. Just like you all know if you've had a flooded basement or any type of water damage you can picture what this looked like. Not pretty to have your basement in shambles and to be standing in water. We asked the "client" Bailey's if they were going to use there insurance company and they said "no" and that they will pay for the repairs themselves. FYI (the insurance co's do not cover water entry from foundation cracks or window well issues). Our billing is an industry standard. The software we use is similar to most insurance companies estimating software. We don't charge any more or less than the insurance companies would have paid us to do the job or any job in the first place. When we gave the "client" Bailey's the mitigation bill they said "THIS IS AN EXCESSIVE BILL, I'M NOT USING MY INSURANCE CO, I GOTTA PAY FOR IT OUT OF POCKET" and should be less for all the equipment and labor provided. We even discounted the 5 crack repairs from $440.00 to $280.00 (everyone knows this price was dirt cheap) just to get paid and move on. We took an $800.00 loss they felt good they chiseled "negotiated" us down. We restored there basement to pre-existing conditions and they were very happy with our quality of work and expertise on resolving issue #1.
Issue #2 May 2018 We get another call from the "client" Bailey's "We have water coming in from our window well area in the basement office" (totally different area from the 1st issue). We responded immediately. Looked, scanned and determine by the water lines on the glass window which probably looked like a fish tank with the dirt, leaves and debris floating. We determined that the rusted, caulked-in old metal window held the water back as much as possible and in fact the window well drain was clogged & water came in. The well drain had to be addressed. Not only did we tell the Bailey's the clay window well drains were 6" to high and had to be cut down below the metal window buck/sill so the water would enter the system at a lower level. They said they would have there landscaper clean out all the window wells and have the drains looked at by there handyman. Once again, following the S500 Standards we remove wet materials, sprayed, set up equipment, installed a new vinyl window, found an additional crack next to window, repaired it, rebuilt the wall put everything back together gave the "client" Bailey's the final bill and once again "THIS IS AN EXCESSIVE BILL, I'M NOT USING MY INSURANCE CO, I GOTTA PAY FOR IT OUT OF POCKET" so on and so fourth. Once again I felt bad he had to go through this water issue for a second time and...... yup you guessed it they got us "chiseled/negotiated" us for another $250.00. We got paid the balance and moved on.
June 7th, 2019 Issue #3 yes #3.....Call came in. Rob we have water in our basement and it's where you already fixed the cracks. (from issue #1 2017 & issue #2 office window well 2018) I can hear his wife in the back-round saying "it's warrantied right, the work is warrantied right, the new window work is also warrantied right?" 1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me the 3rd time we really shouldn't of taken the job because we knew his type of personality and character already. I flat out asked him at the front entry doorway at his home "We'll help you, but please don't take advantage of us like the last couple of times" Mark "client" said it was a misunderstanding and he was sorry for all the "Chiseling, jabs, not paying the full balances" I said OK accepted and went to work. For all of you that are still reading this dispute. We do warranty our work 100%. If it was a faulty crack repair issue we would have fixed the crack at no charge. As for the new window, we all know windows are not water proof and are not made to hold back water. Upon round 3 of investigating water entry issues at this house, we found a puddle of dirt/mud on the carpet along with an entire area saturated with water below a glass block window. We could see the water/dirt lines coming from the outside of bottom of the glass block window onto the rusted sill and down the wall to the carpet. FYI we did not install this glass block window. It was existing and installed by previous owners along with an interior drain tile system around the inside of the foundation. But that's a different story for why they probably sold the house in the first place.... come to think of it. Makes sense right..... Anyways, we followed the same S500 protocol. Flood cut, remove wet debris, spray, dry-out set-up equipment. I spoke to the owners to come up with an economical game plan now to hose/water test the window well drains to see if the window well system was functioning properly. I also recommended putting in a camera into the wells to see if indeed they were clogged, collapsed or had tree roots from all the adjacent large mature trees. The back yard was a pond and recommended to trench a swale between him and the neighbors yard to the street. I did go out to the property the following day with our plumber at no charge to briefly hose test the drains. Well they said they knew someone who had it done (family friend/girlfriend) and they were going to use the "other guy". Once our mitigation services were completed and we picked up all of our equipment I told the owner we will put the mitigation bill together for our services and get it over to them. We called several times and sent text messages to set up a time to review the invoice together, discuss and talk about the window well drain issues & alternatives, along with the reconstruction cost to repair and put back the basement only once we figured out this new problem. After avoiding us for a week we just decided to email the invoice and I followed up with a text "Invoice was sent and would like to come and pick-up a check for the mitigation". And yup you guessed it.... right away owner replied "THIS BILL IS EXCESSIVE, AND I'M NOT PAYING YOU RIGHT NOW" I was livid reading his text. Not paying us again....... WTF.......I said I'll be over in 30 min to collect our check for the work completed to date. The charges were no different than the last 2 time we helped this customer. Then he started pulling out the "ARE YOU THREATING ME" card , "THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS" card, "I'M CALLING THE POLICE" card, " I'M CALLING MY ATTORNEY" card.
Guys you know what, we don't want customers like this. No business owner or contractor wants customers like this. If I can help answer any questions or issues please call our office 847-***-***

All Tech responded to my call for help immediately. Their workers arrived on time, did a professional job replacing a window and left the space clean. Price was appropriate for emergency work. Would definitely call them again in a pinch.

Robert I also like to thank you for helping me get the permit from palatine village, it’s to know you knew your way around town hall. Thanks again—-Joe

We have used All Tech Builders since 2007 and have always been happy with their work.
They have replaced our roof and siding, remodeled our kitchen and master bath. Last year
they painted several rooms installed beautiful hardwood flooring in our family room and
carpet in the living room and bedrooms. Whatever we have needed from carpentry to electrical to plumbing Robert has always said " I got a guy" and he does. The craftsmen he employs are the best. I have heard all of the horror stories on TV about shoddy contractors taking advantage of seniors. All Tech Builders is a contractor that you can trust and count on for a quality job.

Had a fire and Robert from AllTech was there not long after the firefighters left. He was extremely professional and thorough. He fought the insurance company and got them to pay what they were supposed to and our residence is now better than it was before the fire.
