In January 2018, Frank S, owner of Alltek Air Conditioning and Electrical was contracted by our Homeowners association (Portofino Bay) to repair and replace the lighting on the neighborhood dock after the hurricane.
I am on the Board and had met with Frank numerous times to get the repairs completed, as well as work needed for individual slips owners. I will make mention that his agreed upon completion date came and went many times. Countless excuses but the work for the dock was completed in April.
A slip owner had contracted him to fix their lift and motor. He required prepayment before he would start, which this homeowner did. Four months later, and after lots of angry words and unhappy owners, he finally completed the job and then asked for additional monies. This dispute was shared in reviews and the owners are still very unhappy with his work and business ethics.
Frank also did work on our lift. He did complete the work and the lift works. He was paid in full for this service.
My husband and I had also asked him to repair a switch for our lift. He was paid cash for the service/repair that he agreed to do. Lots of texts and emails have been exchanged since January to get this completed. Always with an answer; ? I have the part will be by tomorrow.? Always an excuse if he doesn't show then another promise of when he will be by to do the repair.
We simply want our money back. He was paid $120.00. We obviously don't recommend him as the whole neighborhood was not satisfied with his work and our repair for the switch was never started or completed.

I did receive a phone call stating they would be sending a check. As of 9/15/18 no refund has been received. Just wanted this information on record.
On 9/24/18 I received and deposited a check written by Frank A. S Sr., for the amount of $120.00.
This business is Horrible. Frank will give you a price, ask for most of it upfront, and you will spend your days listening to his excuses of why the work is not done. When he did finally complete the job he said it was $592.00 more than we agreed on. He also charges you his shipping cost for equipment and does not tell you this ahead of time. My neighbor had the same experience of Frank collecting the money and them having to call him over and over. I would never recommend this company.
