Wanted to use a local businessHired this company to pack, store and deliver household goods from Wake Forest, NC to Covington, LAUp on arrival of the truck it became clear some of my property had not been deliveredDriver said they must have left a load at the storage center After multiple requests, owner advised that missing goods has been accidentally auctioned off He promised to make me whole After working with their insurance company determined cost of missing goods to be over $7, All but $1,has been paid but owner*** has procrastinated in making the final payment and has now refused to return calls and e-mails
What is really frustrating is that I wanted to support a local business so I voluntarily paid $1,over the quoted price as I felt it was too low!
This company lost $7,000 of personal property. Advised that goods had been auctioned by accident. Promised to make me whole but are $1,000 short. Wanted to use a local business. Hired this company to pack, store and deliver household goods from Wake Forest, NC to Covington, LA. Up on arrival of the truck it became clear some of my property had not been delivered. Driver said they must have left a load at the storage center. After multiple requests, owner advised that missing goods has been accidentally auctioned off. He promised to make me whole.
