Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Once again *** will do and say anything to make himself look good! I have proof (video footage) from *** as to when I disarmed my alarm the morning of 1/29, when I armed it to away and left my home and when I disarmed it again upon returning home at 12:PM So how could his guys arrived when I was not home? The time stamp of the with the pics of the fridge is correct So, why does he not have any proof as to the arrival time other than his paper work? He could have sent the text but my proof is % valid I can't make that upHis guys are telling *** what he wants to hear so the will not be in trouble with him I will be glad to provide my signature on numerous documents to prove this is not my signature! I am telling the truth about everything and I took your advise Lisa and if *** has not produced payment via certified funds I will sue him as well as prosecute him for communicating threats inside my home and on my property all of which I have proof of via witnesses as well as cameras and they do not lie I am tired of wasting my time on his stupidity and when we go to court I will seek reimbursement for my time of having to deal with his non sense
Sincerely,
*** ***

Most of this statement is not true!! Yes we did load the truckWhen contacted by *** I told her I would check with the guys about the purseThey both told me that they never saw a purseThey didn't even know what a *** *** purse was as neither did IFor her to accuse these guys of
stealing that purse is just out right wrongBy the time *** called me they barely remembered her move as they had done many moves since thenFor starters how do we even that this stuff even existedNext where's her proof that my guys took it If this even existed how do we know she didn't put this item in her car and it was stolen from thereMoving is hectic and people have lots of things to doWhy would you leave such an expensive item out with total strangers coming into your house? to me that lacks common sense and is quite a bit fishy! Also I did not ignore her callsThe last time she called I told her she needed to contact the police which is kind of odd that she had to be told thisThe only time she even tried to contact me after that was to give me the case numberI am very confident that neither man took her stuf* has been working for me for at least years and I have known *** for about yearsWe were friends way before he started working for meI am assuming that the police have not found out anything about these items either!!!

The movers packed and moved our items but we are missing one box of expensive liquorI have already reached out to the owner but to no availHe says it's been compensated with toll and other charges which by mistake the in-charge did not account forThis is not how professional would deal with an issueI am at a loss of above $and would like to get an adequate refund

Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/
My replacement tv was delivered to me and set up Sat., May 11, 2015. I have the receipt. All is ok now.

[redacted] is straight up lying. Now he is saying for the 1st time that he did not sign the insurance paper. That we forged it. As he himself states he uses only an E when initialing. That is exactly what he did on the copy I submitted on my last response. (img.075). Now [redacted] is saying that we only took 4 hours to move him. Total nonsense. According to all of our paperwork it shows that [redacted] was scheduled for 11:00. [redacted] has looked at the books and said he was originally on the books for 2:00p.m. because that was the only spot we had available. We had a morning spot open up and we asked [redacted] if he would like that spot. He agreed on 11:00a.m.  Now if you look at attachment 0873 you will see that I texted [redacted] and [redacted] to be at the truck at 10:40a.m with all of [redacted]'s info. The reason for 10:40 is because they needed to be at [redacted]'s @ 11:00. [redacted] lived 1/2 block away. This gives the boys time to run to the gas station and get fuel, snacks and drinks. Gas station is 2 minutes from [redacted]'s apartment. Now the guys called me a couple minutes after 6:00 p.m. because there was damage to [redacted]'s fridge. Thank God I told [redacted] to take some pictures of the fridge. So now if you look at Images 0872 and 0871 it shows a time stamp of January 29th @ 6:07 and 6:06 p.m. Now we do charge from the time we leave our shop until we return to our shop. This would put us back to our shop after 6:30p.m. but [redacted] was only charged until 6:30 because we weren't going to charge him for the time discussing the fridge. He moved to Castle Rock. Now according to my math that comes out to 7 and 1/2 hours. Just like the invoice says. Which by the way [redacted] refused to sign. Doesn't it seem a little odd that it is now February 22nd and for the 1st time he is claiming that he never signed any insurance papers. This has been the reason we are even having this dispute. If he would have seriously not signed the insurance paper I would have thought that would have been the 1st thing he would have said. I mean to accuse someone of forgery is pretty serious stuff. He dances all around the insurance first saying that it wasn't explained very well and then he didn't understand it. I believe now that he sees that I am not intimidated by his bullying and his threats, no I stand corrected, his promises he will make up whatever is necessary to try to get paid!! He signed he didn't want the insurance and now is also trying to say that the job only took 4 hours. I have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and [redacted] for a reason. And have received numerous awards from both. Revdex.com used to give the Gold Star Award!! By the way the guys wouldn't have even started the move if [redacted] wouldn't have signed the insurance papers. They would have called me and we would have called the move off. This is our standard procedure. [redacted] just keeps coming up with new and improved bad things to say about me and the company. I think the proof is in the attachments. I try to be fair with all customers especially if damage does occur. There is a reason we offer additional insurance. We move lots of large items which is how they make everything nowadays. If you get just a tiny scratch on a piece of wood furniture it costs anywhere from $100.00 to $150.00 to get it fixed. And by the way I do have a professional repairman and he could testify that he occasionally  has had to repair stuff for me. The bottom line is that you can't refuse the insurance and then try to get paid 100% if something happens. [redacted] may have his own business but he has no idea how the moving business works!!!

[redacted] has fabricated so much of this incident. At no point did I tell [redacted] to step out side or call him any of these names he claims. I have been in business for 18 years and at no point or time would I ever do anything like that. [redacted] has juiced up his complaint to try to intimidate me to pay for...

his fridge. I have admitted that we did damage [redacted]'s fridge. The real issue is that [redacted] declined the additional insurance. If you look at the paperwork you can clearly see that he signed that he did not want the insurance. He then initialed that he understands that by not taking the insurance he will receive 60 cents per pound if an item should get damaged. The fridge weighs approximately 300 pounds. This Means [redacted] would receive $180. Now since [redacted]'s bill was $675 which he has not paid this means that he would only owe.$495. When I was in [redacted]'s house assessing the damage I saw that his doors had been damaged. I told him what we could do for him. He did not like what I had to say. I told him that I would go out to my truck and get the insurance paper he signed. I went and got the paper. He then told me that  he didn't understand how the insurance worked and that [redacted] didn't explain it to him properly. I asked him why he would sign and initial a paper he didn't understand. He had no reply and started getting agitated. He screamed at me to get the hell out of his house. I handed him his copy of the insurance paper and told him I would gladly leave.  I escorted myself out of his house and was halfway between the door and my truck when I heard the door open and the screen door was pushed open. This startled me so I turned around and there was [redacted] looking like he was going to attack me. I asked him if he was going to come at me. He said no and I said I didn't think so. I then turned and walked to my truck and [redacted] went back inside. There was absolutely no reason for [redacted] to come to the door. I just don't think [redacted] understands that he declined the insurance which now entitles him to 60 cents per pound. Had [redacted] taken the insurance his doors would have probably already been replaced. I've never had this situation happen before. Most people understand how this process works. Usually things don't get damaged but it is moving and accidents happen. I have reached out to [redacted] and told him that he could keep the $675. If you add this plus the $250 the insurance would have cost that amounts to $925. I told him I would even Pitch in the extra $75.00 to make it an even $1,000 which is what he said it would cost to replace the doors. I feel bad that his fridge got damaged and I think this a more than fair solution. I do not want an unhappy customer but [redacted] has to admit  that he didn't want the insurance. (Please see attachment). I want to work this out but [redacted] needs to meet me somewhere in the middle.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Your lying I contacted you as soon as I got to [redacted] and unloaded the truck.  I am not a liar and would never accuse anyone of stealing if your workers did not take my watches and my purse.  And you told me to file a police report and give you the number. Evause you are boned and you needed the report number to replace my items.  Now your acting like it's a joke well it's not your employees stole my watches and it's a big deal to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted] called us to schedule unloading his truck. He talked to [redacted] and said he had a gun safe. She told him it would require 3 men instead of 2. We have moved several safes. [redacted] forgot to mention that this safe was 750lbs.plus. Most gun safes...

are very manageable. Not this heavy. This was not the 1st truck we have unloaded for [redacted] so he knows how good we work. It took all 3 guys plus [redacted]'s help to just push the safe over onto the safe dolly. Thank [redacted] we had 3 guys out there or the safe would have not been unloaded off of the truck. [redacted] was only charged for the work we did. It took 2 hours to unload the truck plus 1 hr. of travel time. Now understand we had no way to know what was on this truck as [redacted] was bringing the truck in from somewhere else. Someone else loaded this truck. [redacted] should have been specific as to the size and weight of this safe. Had we known how big and heavy the safe was we would have told him that there was no way we could move it down the stairs with 3 men. Remember, he initially only wanted 2 men. [redacted] was only charged for the work we did and not a penny more. Had our 3 men tried to take the safe down the stairs someone could have been seriously hurt and even killed. As far as the boxes go, there were not that many boxes. There were a lot of tools and there were 4 stairs going up to the house. We do not use dollies to go up the stairs with boxes. It is faster and easier to carry them. Now these were large, heavy boxes so that was another reason as to why these boxes were carried. Also there were hardwood floors leading to the basement so had we used our box dollies they would have torn up the lip of the hardwood floor leading to the basement and then we would have been replacing the floor. Believe me things are done the way they are for a reason. If he had questions they should be asked during the move so they could be explained. Had we gone back out there with 5 guys to put the safe in the basement it would have cost $400 more so $240 was a pretty good deal. There is no reason I should have to pay for his safe being moved. Our guys unloaded it into the garage which was the only place it could be put safely. [redacted] was the only one who had any way of knowing the size and weight of the safe or even what was in the truck. We do not need to lie to get business. We actually are just the opposite. We are very hands on and try our hardest to make our customers haKevin called us to schedule unloading his truck. He talked to [redacted] and said he had a gun safe. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/05/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They said they could move the safe. They asked and were supplied the dimensions when the job was booked. [redacted] said they had the specialised equipment ( a safe dolly ) to be able to move it to the basement, and that they had moved a lot of safes. They did not accomplish what they said they were going to do.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/06/21) */
[redacted] hired us to unload his truck. He told us that he had a gun safe. We have moved several gun safes. [redacted] gave [redacted] the dimensions of the gun safe. He forgot to mention the weight of the gun safe. We charge by the hour and no extra charges for specialty items so [redacted] was not charged for moving the gun safe to the basement so therefore there is no refund. [redacted] was charged for the time that it took for the guys to unload his truck plus travel time. This also included unloading the safe into the garage. It took all 3 men plus [redacted] to help get the safe tipped back onto the dolly to get it into the garage. [redacted] originally only wanted 2 men which would have made it impossible to even unload the safe into the garage. There is no way 3 men could have safely put that safe into the basement. By the way we do not give a binding estimate over the phone. [redacted] was the only one who had any idea how heavy this safe was. He is the only one who saw it before it showed up at his residence in HIS TRUCK!! Also he told one of the guys that it was loaded into his truck by a forklift. This is the 3rd truck we have unloaded for [redacted] so he knows we do quality work. There is absolutely positively no way I am going to pay for his safe to be put into his basement. It's not my safe. We did everything we could. [redacted] was charged accordingly.
