He didn't get started until January of 2016, and worked very sporadically for about six weeks. He left the job at about 20-30% complete, and we never saw him again. Several excuses for his absence were offered, along with several promises that "we were next in line," etc. I repeatedly asked for specific dates - any dates - as to when he could start and/or finish the job, but he refused to commit.
