Verbally and physically abusive; police were called after he charged an enormous amount for repairs that were not completedFiled a complaint with AAA and the attorney generalShould have looked on Revdex.com first and would have seen the F rating

They ordered dealer parts and worked on my car without my permission. Should not have AAA accreditation. I was convinced by the tow truck driver to have my car towed here instead my trusted mechanics of 45 years, by lies of a, "free estimate." It was a big mistake. Not only did I never get an estimate, I didn't even get a phone call. I call before close and no answer. The next morning I called at 9:00 and was told they would call back in ten minutes. By 11:00 I call again and someone mumbles something about ordering a part. I was shocked! And expressed my disbelief that they were working on my car without ever speaking to me. And again someone said they would call back in ten minutes. I called AAA at this point. Finally, 1 hour 45 minutes later when the work was done I was called for the for the first time and told what the problem was and the cost. $343 for a blown heater hose and anti freeze. Of which I paid $270. $176 for parts and $94 for labor. I filed a complaint with AAA and they were not too sympathetic they said All Town Towing had a different story. Said I was given a quote, I agreed to them order the part and then I complained about the bill and they only made $75 profit. Apparently they are at bad at math as they are with communication. I would trust these guys!

Review: On December ** 2013, because of a collision that resulted in the ceased of the engine in my car, I had taken my car to All Town Towing for my insurance company claim representative to as the damages of the stated collision. On December ** I came to the agreement with All Town Towing to repair my car in their shop. As stated per my insurance company I was responsible for a $1000 deductible and my insurance company paid the amount of $3887.61 for a total of $4887.61 for the repairs. Soon after I was contacted by my claim representative and informed that it will take up to 2 weeks for All Town Towing to repair the car and that I was also entitled to a one year warranty on the engine replacement. [redacted], the [redacted] of the shop then proceeded to contact me and told me that it will cost me an additional $500 for "miscellaneous parts" bringing the total for the repairs to $5387.61. The initial 2 weeks went by and there was no delivery of service. It was not until January ** 2014 that I finally got a call from [redacted] and I made the arrangements to come and pick it up in which ha informed me that he was only giving me a 90 day warranty instead of the 1 year warranty that was agreed with my insurance claim representative. Same day I picked up the car( January **, 2014) the car wasn't working properly in which I contacted [redacted] January **, 2014 to inform him of my dissatisfaction and told him that I was going to be bringing the car back to him. It was not until a week later ( January **, 2014) that I was able to bring the car back to him in were he checked it out and told me that he was not happy with the job and that he was going to fix it or get a new engine for it if needed. A few days went by and have not heard from him in which I decided to call him and ask him about the car and of how long it will take him to get the car ready and back to me. 3 weeks went by and finally I demanded he gave me answers as of why it was taking so long so he proceeded to tell me that he had submitted the claim through his insurance company for a brand new engine. Another week went by and still not answers about my car. I think he was fed up with all of my phone calls that he finally told me that he was no longer in possession of my car but that the car was being worked on at the engine house Inc. in [redacted]. and awaiting for payment. It is now March **, 2014 and The Engine House Inc. has yet to received a payment from All Town Towing or its insurance company.Desired Settlement: I want All Town Towing to refund me $ 5387.61 for the initial cost of the repairs, also and additional $2117.50 for commuting expenses which are broken down as such:

From December **, 2013 to March **, 2013 there are 14 weeks. According to my insurance company a reasonable amount of time for an engine replacement is 10 to 14 days which equals to 2 weeks.

My daily commute to work has been costing me $ 38.50 and $ 192.50 weekly which are broken down as such. From my place of residence to the Deer park train station is $ 6 X 2 for a.m and p.m =$ 12, a round trip train ticket from Deer Park to New Hyde Park $10.50 ( $5.25 each way) and $ 8 X 2 =$ 16 for the a.m and p.m taxi fare from New Hyde Park train station to [redacted] and back, for the total stated before. for a total of $ 7505.11 combined.

As stated before this experience has been going on for 14 weeks today I will subtract 3 weeks from the 14 for the 2 weeks as a reasonable amount of time of an engine replacement and 1 extra week for unexpected delays bringing it down to 11 weeks.

11X192.50= 2117.50
