I took my ford freestar limited van for a transmission about a month agoTransmission was slipping in 1st gearAfter checking I was told that it would be a rebuild job and was given a very affordable quote about 30% less than others would chargeI dropped my van nest week for two days and transmission was rebuildHowever, there was an engine light in the vanSince there was no engine light before they investigated and found EGR volve was not functioning properlyThey replaced the EGR volve without any additional cost to fix the engine light issueIt's couple weeks since I am driving the van now without any issue
I am glad that the two people who run the shop did not refuse to look at the issue and followed up the trouble to clear the engine light with extra cost me although they had to spend many hours and a part
If I have another job, I would like to go to these guys again
