Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There is no possible way that it could have remained in the shop for two additional days to be inspected when it was in the shop for days (19-22)Being dropped off on a Friday afternoon, worked on for a few hours on Saturday, and no one there to look at it Sunday with the business being closed, then picked up Monday morning leaves little room for inspectionThe $charge for repair alone is questionable$35-for a gasket, $for gasket sealer, $30-for transmission fluid, $for labor at most? Math says $months prior to dropping the vehicle off I was quoted at "no more than $200." On top of all that, how can the vehicle been "dropped off on August 2016" when today is only August 2016?Sincerely, [redacted]

Customer requested that a leak coming the transmission tail housing (extension housing) be repaired ProDemand/Mitchell labor guidelines indicate removal transfer case is necessary to make repairs to the extension housingTransmission extension housing is sealed by silicone on the transmission side and a seal on the transfer case sideThe housing was removed, washed, inspected for deformities such as cracks, both surfaces were cleaned and then reinstalled I was not notified that the transmission extension housing was leaking after the most recent encounter in early August preventing the opportunity to inspect and evaluate any further complaintsThus according to our records the transmission leak was successfully repaired as requested

work that [redacted] had agreed to was in which she had signed for $2,146.20 (she paid in full). Her car was finished the next day 4/18/2015,before she left I test drove the car and it ran better than when she brought it in. On 4/23/2015 [redacted] brought the car back to the shop and complained that we did not fix it, I put it up on the rack and found out she needed a left pressure solenoid, so I replaced it. As I continued to look she also needed a pressure solenoid, I did not have it stock and I told her I would have to order it. Both of these parts have nothing to do with the transmission. I was able to order the parts but it would take 3 days. I told her she could use one of my cars till hers is fixed, she agreed while she was standing there I did a vehicle inspection, I checked all the lights, fluids and made sure it had gas. The next day she came and told me she was stopped by the police because of a broken taillight. When I checked the car it did not have a broken so I asked her for the ticket and she told me she doesn't have it. Her Honda was parked by the doors of the shop waiting for the parts she came back to the office and grabbed her keys and said why did you put marijuana under my seat? I told her I don't know what she is talking about, then she also made the comment that I put over 100 miles on her car, I replied I went 20 miles to test drive the car, at this point she got into her car and drove away against what I was trying to tell her about her part in which she needed and I already ordered it. At this point I sent the part back, I never told her that I would not fix her car, I told her to bring it back and I would not charge her for labor. She never brought it back. She still owes a balance of $450.00 for the new part (left pressure solenoid).
