Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:If I allowed them to correct their errors and it is not properly fixed the dress will be ruinedThey were not willing to refund me $for just cutting the hem haphazardly, they would certainly not refund me the cost of the brand new dress $188, I am not willing to take that risk and my dress is being repaired and hemmed correctly If he was professional the dress should have NEVER left his shop looking like it did, hole in dress, uneven, jagged bottomHe did not apologize and should be embarrassedThere was no miscommunication, I understood exactly the rude remarks and comments they were making (owner and seamstress) I will take my business elsewhere along with my families, and warn others of their unprofessionalism Regards, [redacted] ***

Dear Revdex.com, This is Bryan J***, the sole proprietor of the Tinton Falls Plaza Cleaners at which *** *** complaint is directed towards*** *** came in to our store in need of a shortening alteration for her dressAfter completing our duties, *** *** requested a refund, stating that her dress
was still too long and that the bottom of the dress was uneven and jagged after the alteration, which resulted in her dissatisfactionOur store policy for alteration orders is that if the customer is not satisfied with the final result, then we are always willing to redo the alteration with no additional incurred costs against our customersHowever, this is followed by our long-standing no refund policy for alterations, in which it is implied that all alterations done are finalThe case in point is that we did our best to try and come to a middle ground with *** *** by offering numerous free readjustments (remarking, repining, and tailoring of the dress) courtesy of the seamstress, which would fix the supposed jagged edges and shorten the length of the dressWe also offered her to try the dress on the spot, so that the tailor could possibly see what needed to be done in order to satisfy *** ***However, in response, *** *** refused and walked out stating that "if the dress was not done correctly [in the first place], it would be ruined." She ultimately said that she would dispute with her credit card companyAs the owner of the Tinton Falls Plaza Cleaners for nearly years, I have come across a very few number of refund requestsWe are known by our loyal customer base for our quality customer service and workIf there does happen to be any dissatisfaction, we always have found a way to make ends meet with our customersOur standard is to treat our customers with full respect and considerationWe are not blaming *** *** for her dissatisfaction, but we are just simply trying to come to terms and figure out a resolution, in which *** *** will be satisfied withI strongly believe that this conflict was a result of miscommunication between parties and that *** ***’s dress is still fully reparable after a few more readjustments that we are able to doOur offer is still available for *** *** and we are happy to hear out her concerns and meet her exact needs if she chooses to go trust our servicesThank you for your time and considerationSincerely, Bryan KJ***

They were not willing to refund me $38 for just cutting the hem haphazardly, they would certainly not refund me the cost of the brand new dress $188, I am not willing to take that risk and my dress is being repaired and hemmed correctly.  If he was professional the dress should have NEVER left his shop looking like it did, hole in dress, uneven, jagged bottom. He did not apologize and should be embarrassed. There was no miscommunication,  I understood exactly the rude remarks and comments they were making (owner and seamstress).  I will take my business elsewhere along with my families, and warn others of their unprofessionalism.
