Review: On Saturday, 3/**/14 we entered into a contract with All-Ways Sewer and Water, Inc. for repair to a broken main sewer line from our above property to the connection with the NYC main sewer connection. After going over in great detail what needed to be done, we gave them a check for $4,350.00 payable to All-Ways Sewer and Drain, Inc. as a deposit, $5,000 more to be paid upon completion, the total cost of the repair thus $9,000.00. Work was to be commenced on Thursday, March **, 2014 at 8:30 am with completion on Friday, March **, 2014. All-Ways Sewer did not turn up at 8:30 am on March **, 2014 and after waiting for some time, we managed to get [redacted], the presumed owner, on the phone and asked what the problem was. Then answer was theres bad news and good news, bad news, we cant get the permits for the work, good news, we could do the work for $2,000.00 less. We were not willing to allow any work to be done without the proper permits in place, so we considered the contract null and void and asked for our deposit back. [redacted] said he had no problem with that. Later that day, we again spoke to [redacted] and asked when he was going to bring the check returning our deposit, he said he would bring it to our house at 6pm on Friday March **, 2014. He never turned up, never called. He did not respond to VMs left on his phone from that day to this. On March **, 2014 a letter was sent to All-Ways Sewer and Water. Inc. via certified mail/RRR and also via e-mail setting out the facts of the matter and requesting them to respond and to return our $4,350.00 by April **, 2014 before involving The Consumer Protection Agency, Revdex.com and NYC agencies (a requirement before we can request these agencies to provide assistance). The certified letter return receipt has not been received as of this date, nor is it likely it ever will be signed for. An e-mail response was received from [redacted] via his gmail address on April *, 2014 at 10:40 am stating Like I said before, returning the deposit would not be a problem. We required 2-3 weeks to return a large deposit like such. As far as all the other accusations youve made are not true. If you proceed in any matter against us it will only prolong the process of your money being returned to you. Another letter was sent via e-mail to All-Ways Sewer and Water, Inc. on April *, 2014 as April **, 2014 was approaching, again demanding the return of our deposit. Since the e-mail of April *, 2014, we have not heard from [redacted] or All-Ways Sewer and Water, Inc./All-ways Sewer and Drain, Inc, either by letter, telephone call, e-mail or personally. It is quite clear he does not intend the return our deposit and is a fraud and scam artist, and that he did not disclose and misrepresented that All-Ways Sewer and Water, Inc./All-Ways Sewer and Drain, Inc. could perform work as set out in the contract dated March **, 2014Desired Settlement: All-Ways Sewer, [redacted] operate a fraudulent enterprise. As of 5/*/14 have not received our money back nor heard from them again. Need to be exposed and public protected from them. Complaints also sent to NYS Atty Office and Consumer Protect Agency. Certified Letter/RR being sent back to us by USPS as undeliverable. All-Ways Sewer has several addresses, none of which respond to calls or mail. Want them exposed and our deposit returned.
