The competitive diagnose received from another HVAC company, who was awarded to complete the needed repair, is not correct for the following reasons. A capacitor being missed wired would have resulted in a fan motor failure almost immediately. Secondly, should a condensing fan motor be running...
backwards it would have resulted in poor equipment performance that would have been noticed almost right away. In this case, the replacement capacitor and existing fan motor operated properly for several months. However, we at All Weather Contractors value our customers and strive to be the leader in HVAC services. Although we feel the competitive diagnoses provided to our customer was incorrect, we will reimburse $150.00 to result in a good customer experience. Thank you,Jessica [redacted]
