Dear Revdex.com, In regards to the above mentioned ID number, this customer has been taken care of alreadyIn this casewe were relying on a 3rd party delivery service to pick up and deliver the engine Ms [redacted] orderedUnfortunately, the delivery service did not pick up the engine when scheduledAfter several failed attempts to get them to pick it up, the customer decided to just come pick it upMs [redacted] was apologized to several times as the order was delayedWhen she came and picked up the engine, she was again apologized to in personThe shipping that was charged was also refunded at this same time, and she was provided with a copy of the refundAs far as I can tell, Ms[redacted] is now satisfied, and has been refunded her shipping

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I called another local auto dismantler and told the manager the entire saga of my removing the cylinder head and finding the rusted cylinder walls I ask the manager of that yard what he would do in this situation Without hesitation he replied he would replace the engine with another I am asking you to do the same or refund my $plus tax Sincerely,*** ***

pickup the engine in question, and it has been unavailable for pickup.I have had my driver stop by the shop that was doing the work for [redacted] twice in the two weeks. According to the shop owner, the engine that we sold to [redacted] is still installed in the vehicle and not available for pickup. The customer is also mistaken about the $150 refund offer. I offered to refund $150, or 1/3 of the cost of the engine, for him to repair the engine. This meant he would keep the engine, and also get $150 back. If he does not want this, there is nothing I can do. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Kevin C[redacted] who is the manager of West Coast Auto Wrecking wrote the response  If I had not removed the cylinder head to replace the gaskets with marine ones I would have not visually seen the severe pitting in the cylinder walls and when I would have tried to run it the engine would have had bad compression on at least two of the cylinders.  In which case I would be give a full refund or replacement engine.  Kevin states in his letter that he offered me 150 for repairs.  I have estimated the cost to repair these cylinders with sleeves and new rings and it would exceed the amount that I paid for the engine which was $450 plus tax.  I still claim I would like another engine or a refund of my purchase price.  Sincerely,[redacted]
