Review: My car was taken to All World Transmission for a clutch replacement on my 2010 Hyundai Elantra. [redacted] quoted me $847.00 for the repair to be completed the following business day. I waited three days for the car to be ready. When we picked the car up, we paid $1,018.00 for repair. It smelled like grease from the person doing the repair. We did not complain we were just happy to have the car back. It took us 2 hours to get the greasy smell out of the car.

The next day, my son called saying the tire had collapsed on the vehicle while he was backing out of his friends house. My son took pictures of the collapsed car. I called [redacted] and explained what had happened. It was obvious the mechanic had forgot to tighten something down. I told [redacted] if my son had been driving the car on that 50 mph road he could have killed himself and others. He acknowledged the obvious mistake by his mechanic and he sent a tow truck to pick it up. HE DID NOT APOLOGIZE!

Again we found ourselves with the car in his shop. We were told he would get right on it but the car was there three more days. I asked [redacted] if the front end alignment could have been altered by the car collapsing and he said NO! So, we were tired of waiting for the car and I called [redacted] on the third day and told him we were driving down to that area ([redacted]'s Grocers) and asked if the car would be ready and he assured us it would be. We drove all the way there from [redacted] and spent an hour shopping before going to pick the car up. Surely, it would be ready by then. But, [redacted] said his guy was doing a FRONT END ALIGNMENT on the car! This after he claimed there was no damage to it!

Once again, we were turned away without the car or an APOLOGY! He told us to come by after the shop was closed to pick it up and he would leave the keys in it because he had security cameras. So, we had to do it after dark!

We finally got the car back for a second time and unbelievably it had that filthy greasy mechanics smell in the car. Grease on the steering wheel, the shifter and the seat!

In retrospect, we feel that his unprofessional, unapologetic attitude should not go unpunished. So we are asking for a 50% refund and a SINCERE APOLOGY for nearly killing people, delays in returning the car, returning the car filthy, lying about the front end and refusing to apologize.Desired Settlement: We are asking for a 50% refund and a SINCERE APOLOGY for nearly killing people, delays in returning the car, returning the car filthy, lying about the front end and refusing to apologize.
