Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business is incorrect and they know this given the voicemail and other correspondence I've provided, some of which they requested The 10% is in no way compensation and I am willing to let the majority of the furniture damages go if they will fix the one china cabinet they dropped. Also, the owner needs to call the AZ Department of Labor in regards to the contract issue about dollies; I did By sending his people out on jobs without the most basic of tools, he's in violation of the statutes As I mentioned to him on the day this happened, working without the proper tools is putting his guys in a lot of risk His guys are a lot more important than my furniture. Gary Crosby is a nice person but a lousy business man or he wouldn't be hiding behind small print in a contract and refusing to even communicate with me Note to Gary: Don't forget what I told you during the one conversation we had, "I would have gladly rented equipment if you had told me about the small print on one of the several calls we had before the move." As you grow professionally, and I sincerely hope you do, you will address this with your customers verbally, up front, so that the rolls and responsibilities are made clear BEFORE the job But first, call the Deptof Labor You have a lot to learn

[redacted], it is against the moving help agreement to bring tools for disassembly as well as our own dollies. All customers read and agree to the moving help terms of service. Moving help further states we are a labor only neutral venue. Moving help also states we are not motor carriers. If we were, we would be liable at .60 cents per pound. I am unaware of a law that allows a customer to deduct 10 percent of charges for damage. It was a verbal agreement between my men and you that the ten percent would cover damages. How can you expect a company to do their entire job when you refuse to pay for the service? By taking it into your own account with my employees and deducting a portion of the fee, you took it upon yourself to make the decision as to how this worked out.

Hello,My complaint has yet to be resolved. I called the Revdex.com nearly one week ago and was told my case worker was researching confirmation that the payment would truly be refunded back to me as I still have not been contacted by the business, All You Need Moving, LLC. My case remains labeled as closed, with no one contacting me back yet. I responded within the allotted time frame and stipulated that the case would be closed if I received my refund - this has yet to happen or be offered to me personally, so please contact me with additional steps to claim it. The matter remains unsatisfactorily unresolved until then. Thank you for your time.[redacted]Sent from my iPhone

All you need moving LLC was hired by [redacted] through moving help.com. On this website it explains the services provided are labor only. It explains in detail to all customers that dollies and moving materials must be purchased or rented by the customer. It is a violation of our agreement through...

movinghelp to provide a Dollie or moving materials. In addition, the customer withheld 10 percent of the total charge for compensation, and now wants a total repair.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving a company!!! My family hired them a few weeks ago to transportation two of my recently decesed grandmother's small dogs from California to Arizona. When the men came to pick up the dogs they seemed very nice and reassuring. My aunt let them know about the dogs and that one was a little skiddish and would run if given the chance so she STRESSED the fact that she had to be leached before she got out of the truck. However later that evening while the were stopped in San Francisco, Mia (the skiddish one) got loose and they couldn't find her. They did not alert my family until the following day. They had not let my family know they would be making so many stops in different cities along the way either, so the trip took longer than expected. Although one dog made it to Arizona, Mia is gone!!!! Lost somewhere in San Francisco!!! It's heart breaking to not know what happened to her. She is 12 years old and my grandmother had her since she was a baby. I can't believe this happened and I feel there is not excuse for it. This is you job!! You are reliable for transporting people's objects and in the case living breathing dogs and you lost one!!!! Please be aware anyone using them for a pet transport, pets are not just a piece of furniture that can be replaced then are like family!!!!

We removed the scuff, and the mattress has multiple stains and pre existing damage including mold. This mattress should be replaced. The breathing issues are from mold and existing stains. This company was extremely helpful! The moving process with this company was the best I've had. I will recommend them to friends and family and use them again when I move. I was amazed by their promptness and professionalism. Great service and experience. Thank you guys so much.

Review: First off I rarely write negative reviews. I've tried handling this situation for over a month now with the owner Gary. I've only actually spoken to him once on the phone when I first contacted him. Since then he will not take my calls only text and sometimes not respond at all. I hired movers to move my small 1bd apt to a storage unit. I didn't have much to move because I had recently got rid of a lot to avoid moving it. So like with any move I was running around trying to get everything done while they loaded my things. I didn't realize I needed to follow them closely and monitor things. I reiterated several times to please not scratch my furniture and take care of my mattress. They were moving pretty quickly but I trusted they would adhere to my request. Boy was I wrong. When we got to the storage I was a bit ahead of them so I ran to the atm so I could help them avoid the credit card fees and pay with cash. When I got there no more than ten minutes later, the bank was literally less than a mile away, they were completely done unloading. I was shocked and asked if everything was packed ok. They shut the storage and put the lock on before I could check it over. And honestly I'm a trusting person so I believed it was probably fine. Well that should have been a sign. When I returned a couple days later when I had more time I opened my storage to find a complete disaster. My bike was standing on its back tire leaning against the storage door and feel out as I opened it. My tables looked as though they drug them through the streets. The glass was completely scratched. Chunks of wood chipped out. And I had just purchased these months before new. One of my containers, which was very sturdy, broke and I guess they threw it away and just tossed all of the things inside it in a back corner in my storage. Never mentioned it to me. My vacuum was tossed on top of my couch. It was a mess. Gary refuses to cover the cost of my damaged furniture.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the cost of the moving service or money to replace my damaged furniture

Review: I hired All You Need Moving through the Thumbtack app for my move on 10/5/2015, believing I was hiring a highly professional, experienced company based on their advertising. I have photos supporting the way my mattress was blackened and soiled with paint from my building as a result of the way this company handled it during the move. When I pointed this out to the company, I was told that a fabric safe, professional upholstery cleaning device would be used to clean my mattress as soon as possible as a remedy. I was still moving from house to house and trusted licensed professionals to do the job they promised me in a professional manner that evening. Instead, one of the movers came over and completely saturated my mattress in Resolve carpet cleaner and used rough sponges meant for tough grease on pots and pans to remove the numerous stains, fraying my mattress (the owner saw the shreds of it in the sponges), turning the formerly soft sides of my bed into what feels like sandpaper, making the bed too wet to sleep on, and leaving a strong, irritating chemical scent that stunk up my whole apartment and irritated my allergies and asthma. The Resolve bottle clearly warns it is an irritant. I was lectured by the business owner, Gary C[redacted] for trusting his mover to do the job when I could not be present, when the mover had insisted on coming out while I was busy doing other things that night because he was "off the clock," and otherwise wouldn't be able to come until later in the week. Somehow it got turned on me that I harassed them with urgency - well, my mattress was too filthy to put bedding on, and I live in a one bedroom apartment, but insisting on coming out that night with products I was lied to about was their inappropriate decision that I would have never approved of. My young relative, who was made very uncomfortable by the mover requesting her phone number (he called me personally the next day to ask for it again), was blamed by Gary for being in my home when this occurred. She was unaware of the specific products I was told they were going to use, and was just there to help unpack. Allegedly, the mover could not access the professional device that I was told would be used after all, and took matters into his own hands instead of notifying me that the job could not be done properly that night.

When the owner later came to my home with the two movers, the first thing he did was aggressively call my mattress already “disgusting,” and began insulting me for wasting his time, humiliating me to lean down and smell my mattress, when my mattress never smelled, it was the Resolve carpet cleaner and my wet mattress stinking up my room from such an unprofessional tactic. The mover was dishonest about having only used the cleaner on the sides, when my photos indicate the top edges were made filthy, too. No, my mattress was not brand new, but it is a nice quality pillow top and was not his company’s to damage and dishonestly take matters into their own hands with, saturating it in an irritating carpet spot cleaner that the professional upholstery cleaner I had to hire was appalled by, and had to thoroughly rinse/clean out for me.

My number one reason for filing a complaint - I mentioned to Gary, the business owner, my mattress being so poorly handled and not protected at all, and he told me I should have provided my own means of keeping it clean, and shockingly said, "What do you expect hiring movers off of Thumbtack?" (a popular app people use to find reputable, professional movers locally... no reason to imagine this circumstance) It was beyond devastating to me that he sincerely meant that, especially once I looked at the rest of my high quality furniture and saw marks, chips, and scratches due to not being properly covered or handled. As a business manager myself, I couldn't believe this was happening in my home, or what was being said to me to deflect all responsibility for what had occurred. I was now being blamed for being foolish enough to hire his company. Customer service does not get any poorer than that. I felt very uncomfortable by the hostility and need to defend myself against Gary’s insulting remarks and insistence that I was wasting his time, when look at how much of my time and resources have had to go into his company’s poor business practices. And Gary saying what he did about the company they advertise through, that I’d trusted to provide me with legitimate professionals? Completely unacceptable. A complete nightmare is more like it. I may not have had a lot to move, but it was all expensive, high quality pieces, that I had every reason to believe I was trusting esteemed professionals with. A company with that lack of integrity and highly inappropriate customer service behavior should not be in operation, or at the very least should be reprimanded for this experience so as to learn to never let such carelessness, or poor customer service, happen again. I truly felt traumatized by my interaction with Gary. It was a very stressful move in experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone, during what should be an exciting time.

I have thought carefully about a fair resolution to this issue. I made the mistake of providing a generous tip before thoroughly assessing my furniture on a very busy moving day, a mistake I know many make but by law have some time to thoroughly examine. I tipped the movers $100 for a $150 move – only the contents of one bedroom. I was extremely generous because they helped move some patio items as well. I would like my $100 in gratuity back to cover the cost of a professional discounted $70 upholstery cleaning, and the little that remains shall be considered restitution for the nights I had to sleep elsewhere than my new home (I didn't have a couch yet) and wait to be able to sleep on the one and only bed I have so that it could be cleaned to where I could comfortably and safely breathe on it, and the work I missed for Gary to be an hour late for the appointment to my home, only to be so unprofessional and condescending when I thought I was setting aside time for a sincere resolution. I also did not appreciate the other movers not interjecting when Gary was being rude and inappropriate to me as a customer, creating an unsafe feeling of what exactly they were all doing in my home that day, or if I am safe having them know where I live. None of that deserves gratuity for those feelings, and the job I entrusted them with. I have no doubts the professional upholstery cleaning service would be happy to testify how wrong their treatment of my mattress was, and that it was not appropriate for me to sleep on until it could be thoroughly cleaned. All that was offered to me by Gary’s company was to “give him some time” so a colleague of his could professionally clean my mattress. After the experience I had with him in my home, I was understandably not comfortable having anyone affiliated with him come here again. However, I happen to know I am owed more than that option. I have done what feels to be a helpful duty to my community in writing some detailed reviews of what occurred so that no one ever has to experience what I did with such disrespect to their belongings, or themselves. I would be willing to revisit removing those reviews if the second chance to exhibit some appropriate customer service skills to rectify my experience would be implemented. Thank you.Desired Settlement: As stated at the end of my complaint: I have thought carefully about a fair resolution to this issue. Hello, I would like to clear a few things up. First and foremost [redacted] has given an oral confirmation all issues are and were cleared up over a month ago. In addition, the mattress had one mark on it from paint that had been removed and confirmed by her mother and the designated personal to approve the work completed. [redacted] threatened me with multiple negative reviews and responses etc., which is evident throughout the rambling response which is not only false and incorrect, but also, it is an outright attack on all you need moving for not complying with her Eco-friendly needs within a 12 hour period. Her response also indicates we included several additional services for zero additional fees. I can return her $100. She gave that as a tip and not a rendered service. She evidently indicates she tipped the workers for such a great job, and confirmed the job was well done. She then later claims her mattress had a scuff on it, which was discovered later.. We removed the scuff, and the mattress has multiple stains and pre existing damage including mold. This mattress should be replaced. The breathing issues are from mold and existing stains. Three people were present to examine the age, use, mold, and excrement stains on this mattress. We cleaned this mattress because of the immediate rush. I offered to hire a professional upholstery company and she has declined. She also declined any services or reimbursement. It is not worth my time, or money anymore to deal with this. For $100, this is ridiculous and a waste of my time. I am more than willing to give her $100 tip from the employees on the job.
