TO HER RESPONSE:I made three trips back to Ms*** residence and provided (free) residential sealant repair to her home (because the leak is coming from the home, not the patio) in an attempt to satisfy her.She is correct in saying that she would NOT permit me to perform a hose testA hose test is a standard test that would prove the patio roof I repaired is water-tightThis test would further demonstrate that the water is coming in from the roof on her house, regardless of its age, which was poorly installed and is not up to codeIn an effort to work with her, I dropped off a proposal to repair the roof on her residenceShe refuses to pay her bill for the work and materialsWhat she needs, is a new roof on her house that abuts the patioThat would solve the problem *** ***Owner, ALLADIN ROOFINGORIGINAL COMPLAINT FROM *** ***: “He was paid to put a new roof on my patio and it still leaksNo attempts to fix it inmonths after a few phone callsWhen I asked for an itemized bill on supplies used on my job I was told I wasn't entitled to it Extra bundles of shingles were left by the crew saying I should keep these since I paid for themWhen I asked *** to take them back to where he purchased them and get a credit on my bill he said no credit would be given but he arrived that day to pick them upIn months he hasn't shown up to fix the leaks.” MY (second) RESPONSE TO THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: Again, I have made a minimum of three trips to Ms*** home in attempts to satisfy herThe “extra” bundles were never hersThey were not even the same colorThe crew had simply removed some surplus bundles from a previous job and temporarily set them asideI can only say that she must have misunderstood my workers, although I tried to explain the situation to herI performed an estimate for the job and sent her a proposal that she acceptedThis is her attempt to avoid paying the billNOTHING will satisfy this customer *** ***Owner, ALLADIN ROOFING

Attached is a settlement agreement concluding this complaint.  Mr. [redacted] offered to waive the balance due and issue me a check for $100. to get the repairs done by another contractor. The patio was completed per agreement and we pride ourselves on always leaving the grounds cleaner than we arrive. This customer's complaint is based on a pending small claims action for her refusal to pay for materials. I have returned to her home and advised her that the existing leak is NOT a...

patio issue, but a house issue (where the two join) and she does not want to pay to have work done on her home. I would be happy to reroof her house per bid. That would solve the problem.
