That’s exactly what happened when we visited our first Allan model during the Parade of HomesWe fell in loveWe had already commited to another builder, but we couldn’t stop thinking about the amazing finished lower level in that Charleston Parade model, and the sincerity of the sales person we met thereAfter bumping into her again at another Parade home, we decided it must be for a reasonWe set up an appointment and told her about our prior commitment and our fears that we were building the wrong homeShe explained our options and immediately went to bat for usAt this time, we had zero commitment to AllanWithout earning even a dime of our money, they were willing to take a risk to earn our businessSince we had already been dreaming about making the Charleston our dream home, we went in with a few ideas of how we’d like to change the planWithout hesitation, our sales rep worked with Allan’s architect to show us a few versions of the plans incorporating our ideasWe were so impressed, and we knew immediately what the right choice wasThroughout our building process, the Allan team treated us like VIP customersTheir commitment and dedication never wavered, even after we signed the contractThey made sure that we were able to design and build our dream home at a budget that was within our comfort zoneAfter we finalized the plans we learned that our house was — get this — 18” too wide for our lot! We worked with Allan’s architect again to creatively redesign the space so we could make it happen and not feel squeezed inAgain, he exceeded our expectationsEvery person that we met with was very knowledgeable and helped make our decisions very easyThe same kind of service extended beyond the doors of their office to their vendors as wellWe loved working with Drexel, especially on the selections for our kitchen! We did our homework before deciding to buildWe visited several model homes and met with three other companies, but something stood out about Allan BuildersAt first glance all of these companies (and their pricing) seemed to be similar, but after sitting down with our sales person and comparing apples to apples, it was obvious that the Allan home was a better valueWe fell in love with the Charleston floorpan, but we wanted our home to reflect our personal styleWe made significant design changes to the exterior, resulting in a Prairie style home that we love! Throughout the entire design process, our sales person was helpful and very knowledgeableThe whole team at Allan is very close knit and it’s easy to see why they have such a great reputation—nothing falls through the cracksWe were impressed at how easy everyone was to work withEven their vendors treated us with respect and took time to explain their workWhat impressed us most was everyone’s “can do” attitude and the flexibility that we had to ensure that our new home was exactly what we wanted it to beWe give the Allan team an A+ and would highly recommend them!
