Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/29) */ We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in our efforts to clear your sewer lineYou informed us that you sold your home and called us to help you with two problems at your house, problem was a leak coming in through the foundation wall when it was raining outWe explained to you that this should be fixed properly but we could put epoxy in the area that was leaking and it should help temporarilyThe second problem was that your sewer was backed up and the catch basin at your house was full of toilet paper which indicated that it was most likely backed up for a whileAfter rodding the line multiple times with no success our rodding cable got caught in your already broken sewer lineThis was impossible to tell before we started to rod out the sewer lineWe were not able to put a sewer camera in the line before we rodded it because the line was backed upWe came out the next day because we did not leave your house until 8:30pm in our efforts to clear your broken sewer lineWe retrieved the cable and informed the owner that the line was broke and needed to be dug up and repairedWe explained to the owner that we would credit the charge of $if they went ahead and had us make the repairThe manager that went out there gave the owner a price of $less the credit of $would have brought the repair to $After the manager explained to me the homeowners situation with the house being sold already and that they did not want to sink more money into a house that they will not own for long, I told the manager to reduce the price for the repair to $The manager told the homeowner this info and she explained to him that her husband had decided to have the work done by an Irish company because he was IrishWe hope that the homeowner understands that even though we made a temporary repair on the foundation wall and recommended that they get it fixed by a professional because our temporary repair work came with no warranty that we still charged them for our time which added to the overall cost of the jobWe are not willing to give a credit to the homeowner at this timeThe owner told us that she was going to dispute the charges on her credit card if we didn't reduce her bill to $300.00, we then explained to her that if she disputes the credit card charge we would be forced to file a mechanics lien on their homeShe agreed to pay us our bill in full for the work performed and said she was going on every social media site she could to smear our reputationSo far she went on Yelp and now the Revdex.comI guess she wasn't bluffing when she threatened us, but we stand behind everything we do and will not be bullied by a homeowner that we tried our very best to help Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/06/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is classic bait and switchThe issue is they are misleading consumers like me by telling a homeowner that it costs $to rod a sewer line and then charge $at the end of service, never mentioning along the way that they would be charging more because their error (their equipment got stuck) and they left it there more than hours so I had no use of my drivewayI did not mention the foundation wall repair because that was only $of the $bill and is not in disputeI am not even sure if the two men who worked on my job are licensed plumbersThey were deceitful and that is why I have Revdex.com involved
