Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: · Since the event is RAIN OR SHINE, every single year, HOTshould be responsible to plan ahead for RAIN OR SHINE in order to be able to deliver what was advertisedI am not satisfied with the “surprise guests” as we did not pay for surprises; we paid for what was advertisedTo you it may just be "one" performer but to a true and loyal fan that was the entire show· I understand that each year the show is scheduled for a specific amount of timeHowever, we did not enjoy “all the performances” because there were performers missingI also understand that there are fans that travel via public transportation, but there are also fans that travel by their own transportation like meAn announcement should have been made at the stadium that those using public transportation are recommended to leave to not be strandedWhile those who have their own transportation can continue to enjoy “all” the performances including advertised [redacted] · The way the entire show was handled was extremely upsetting, rude, and not a way to treat consumersMy friends and I, like many others, have been consumers of this event for several years and deserve much more respect than thisAll these responses are delivered with smart remarks that are uncalled forThe “closing” of the event was rude not just to the people who spent their hard earned money but also to the performers who were literally cut off in the middle of performingI know I deserve partial refund, even though the main event did go on, but the main event did not deliverI too am sorry that this was such a disappointment In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for your email regarding your Summer Jam experienceWe at HOT work all year to bring you a very special Hip Hop event, and completely understand and share your disappointment that this year’s show wasn’t as perfect as we’d like it to beWhile many fans have expressed what a great night it was, we know that was not the case for many others, and want to ensure you, we hear you!• The severe weather that came through the area made it impossible to safely host our free Festival Village showThe decision to cancel was tough, but safety for everyone is top priorityJust the day before Summer Jam, people at a different outdoor concert were struck by lightning and injured; no one wants a repeat of that! • HOT participated in several safety briefings throughout the day with the NJ State Police, [redacted] Stadium officials, and weather expertsFrom those meetings, it was decided that the building would be safe to open at 8:30PMThankfully, the storm passed before then, so gates were able to open a bit earlier, but it took approximately hours to get everyone inside in a calm and orderly manner.• The change in the schedule also affected the performers’ availability, as some had times they had to leave by to catch flights or to host other engagementsLuckily, we were also able to pick up some extra surprise guests, including [redacted] ***, which made for some special and unannounced performancesWe understand there may have been one act you wanted to see most, but hope the extra special guests helped make up for that.• Each year, the show is scheduled for a specific amount of timeWith the late start, the show ran as late as it possibly could for you to enjoy all of the performancesUnfortunately, the stadium did impose a 1:20am stop time to ensure that fans traveling via NJ Transit would not be stranded, as the last train was departing minutes laterThe train announcement was posted online and via social media, but considering many people experience sparse service and draining cell phone batteries at a concert, risking they did not see the advisement was not one officials wanted to chance.• The show is rain or shine; since the main event did go on, albeit delayed, refunds are not available• HOT and all of Emmis take Summer Jam extremely personally and rest assured your comments have been shared with our entire team, all the way up to head management• We apologize if any part of the day disappointed you, but please know we appreciate you and your continued support for Summer Jam and HOT
