I purchased a Veracruz from Allegheny Motors in November of 2014, I traded in a pontiac car They delayed payoff to the bank for the loan on the Pontiac until February of 2015, causing me to get day delinquencies on my credit report Then I traded in the veracruz in July of and requested my GAP insurance refund they finally processed my paperwork and weeks later I received the refund check, depoisted it into my account just for it to bounce and the bank charge me return fees, due to their bad check

I purchased a Chevrolet Cruze from Alleghany Motors of Covington, VA on October 13, As part of the purchase I traded in my Ford FiestaAs of today, 11-15-16, the lien on the Fiesta still has not been paid offI have spoken on the phone with *** in their accounting department as well as their switchboard operatorI am told that the business has been sold in the past two weeks to a gentleman named *** *** - and - because of that sale they have not been able to get the check signed to pay of the lien on my FiestaI am told to speak with Mr*** the new ownerI have left multiple messages with the switchboard operator asking him to call me (and of course provided my number)I have not received a call back
I visited the dealership on Friday, November 11, in hopes that in speaking with someone in person I could get the issue with the lien resolvedI was apologized to by their staff and told that the issue would be resolved yesterday, November 14,

I traded my Chevrolet Cruze on August 20, for a Dodge Dart I have been told serveral times that a check has been overnighted and has notI talked with the bank yesterday and they stated the check has been reversed due to NSFAs of this morning 10-5-the car has not yet been paid off

Review: I purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey from Alleghany Motors Corp in late March 2015. After leaving the lot I noticed a noise when I accelerated. I addressed this issue along with an issues of the rotors not working properly and the fact it needed an oil change in such a short time after purchase 2 days later when I went to fill out more paperwork for the vehicle. At that time I was asked to come back a few days later which I did. After going back and having it checked out they informed me that the transmission was slipping but I should continue driving it until the problem either got worse or it completely broke down, also was told that the rotors were a little warped and it was nothing to worry about. Which I stated that I wanted the rotors changed and they agreed for me to bring it back in and have that done and also changed the oil. Again I brought up the issue of the transmission and was given same answer to wait til it breaks down completely or gets worse because the warranty would not cover a replacement transmission it would only cover replacement parts. A week later I started having issues with leaking inside of the car after a hard rain. The dealership assured me it was only because the sunroof drains were clogged and they tried to fix it but a few days later the leak was worse., so I then took it back addressing the issue with the leak and the transmission as well again. They asked me to come in and make appointment to diagnose the issues with the transmission but I declined because they had already diagnosed the issue 2 weeks before hand. I stated that I would be going to talk to someone higher up which I did stated that I was dissatisfied paying 18000 dollars for a vehicle with some many defects and that it was not being addressed as it should have been, the former general manager then drove my vehicle and heard the same noises that I was hearing with the transmission and at that time the former general manager made appointments for me to have the leaks fixed and to bring it in to have the transmission replaced a week later. He stated that it would be there for around 2 weeks and I would be given a car to drive which I was. However once receiving the car back after the transmission replacement., I noticed that it was having power steering problems and also somehow the wiper fluid tubing had been broke and was not working properly. I brought it back down to the dealership to address the issues and they checked power steering fluid which is was full they then drove it but never experienced the problems that I was so they said there was nothing that they could do since it was not happening with them. They did address the wiper fluid tubing and ordered a new part to be replaced. I have stated to them that I do not want this vehicle due to all the problems I have had in such short time and that I am making payments on a vehicle in which I am hardly able to drive due to it being in the shop more than it is in my possession. In the mean time I have been calling the bank in which the vehicle I traded was financed at and they had not received my payoff payment from Alleghany Motors. I then called Alleghany motors where I was first told that they had sent payoff payment in the wrong name to the bank and it was returned however I was never called to inquire why it may have been returned. I was also told by someone that it was never sent in the first place due to them not having adequate help. But was assured that it was sent via [redacted] over night delivery on Monday May 11th 2015. I then called [redacted] the next day and was told both times that the payment still had not arrived. When I called on Wednesday May 14th to [redacted] they stated that payment had still not been received I then called Alleghany motors again and was spoke to very rudely by the lady answering the phone. No one was able to tell me when they payment was sent or any information about the payment. They then later stated that the payment had been delivered the morning of 5/14 at the bank by [redacted]. Later that evening the bank called and let me know that they have received payment and it would be posted same day and to call back in the morning to verify, however Before I traded my vehicle I had already made my payment for April and was told that as soon as they received payoff payment from Alleghany motors I would receive a check for the over payment I had made. however since Alleghany motors has taken almost 2 months to send payment in the account has now accrued more interest and I may not get the amount back that was overpaid.Desired Settlement: In all honesty, the vehicle I am currently driving is a lemon and should have never been sold I am now paying 18000 dollars and making monthly payments on a vehicle that doesn't work properly and I have to worry about breaking down. I'm not sure what exactly can be done with this unless I was to be offered another vehicle of same make model and price and same options within the car. Repairing the issues is great but it seems that once one thing is fixed another breaks down and I don't feel I should be having to pay for something that is not reliable.
