Alleghany Regional Hospital

Review: On 5/22/12 I had routine bloodwork done at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Lowmoor VA. My employer pays for blood work each year if it is coded as [redacted].0. It was coded incorrectly and my doctors office has sent corrections numerous times to have it corrected and resubmitted to my insurance. This is not an all inclusive list as I have spoke with numerous people MANY times and this is not resolved as I received yet another bill today.10/15/12 - spoke with [redacted] at Alleghany Regional and the correction was faxed to her at ###-###-#### per her request.6/25/2012 - [redacted] at [redacted] medicine faxed the correction8/27/2012 - [redacted] at [redacted] Medicine faxed again12/3/2012 - Spoke with [redacted] (###-###-#### in the Richmond business office who said she would take care of this 3/4/2013 - [redacted] at [redacted] Practice faxed to [redacted] at ###-###-#### (phone number ###-###-####4/10/2013 Received a letter from Focused Recovery Solutions (collection agency)4/16/2013 spoke with [redacted] at Richmond office (###-###-####) and he stated he would remove the account from collections and see what was taking so long6/27/2013 - received another bill for 297.63My insurance pays 100% for bloodwork that is coded as [redacted].0 and my doctor's office has faxed correction numerous times and it is still not corrected and rebilled by Alleghany Regional Hospital in Lowmoor VADesired Settlement: I want this amount written off as it should have been corrected and resubmitted to my insurance and after numerous attempts it has not been done. There are serious issues with the billing department at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Lowmoor VA.

just spoke with the CFO’s secretary. [redacted] (CFO) called and spoke directly with Ms. [redacted] to let her know that her account was $0 and apologized for the inconvenience. (They even discovered that they were neighbors and had a good conversation!) After their phone conversation he did not send an additional letter.
