I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me but need to clarify the amount they will be increasing the certificateIn their response, Shade tree indicated they would increase the value of our certificate (currently $10,240) by $500, which would make the new total of the certificate $10,In their next sentence, Shade tree states the new certificate value would be $10,If the value of the certificate is increased to $10,740, this resolution is acceptable to usWe would like Shade tree to confirm that the new amount of the certificate we hold is $10,740, and that they will honor their quote for $13,and we will consider this matter to be resolved Regards, [redacted] ***

I am in receipt of you letter dated 10/19/concerning *** ***'s complaint. I am sorry that the customer has filed a complaint as I know we have tried to come to a compromise agreement with them . We do work with a radio station and provide a coupon for a system of by size or
similar with a value of the certificate of $. The ***s wanted a system larger than by which was quoted to them with our discounts Our published discounts in our advertising does say that they cannot be combined with other promotions or offers . We consider this auction as another offer. The ***s state that they did not tell us about the certificate for fear of us inflating our price We did not inflate the price because our system generates quotes based on standard MSRP . Don , my representative, did give them the current promotion discount so on their quote was standard MSRP less discount He would not have discounted if he had know about the certificate because we do not combine discounts with other promotions or offers . The auction does state a by or similar size structure and the ***'s proposed structure is larger than by 16 so it doesn't meet those qualifications either . Once he found out about the certificate Don explained this to them and gave them standard MSRP pricing . We have been doing this auction for many years and have never had an issue with a customer Not one has ever demanded a discount to go along with their certificate . The fact that they bought the certificate for $is a very large discount and to expect an additional discount does not seem reasonableAlso given the fact that the requested structure is larger than the by described by the certificate . Our systems our of the highest quality and we have thousands of satisfied customers throughout the US and Canada . I cannot honor a $certificate for a $system based on the facts that the system exceeds size and would be a double discount . I would be willing to increase the certificate value by $.To increase the value of the certificate to $I am not willing to discount our systems when using this certificate . Thank you

In their response, Shade tree indicated they would increase the value of our certificate (currently $10,240) by $500, which would make the new total of the certificate $10,740. In their next sentence, Shade tree states the new certificate value would be $10,540. If the value of the certificate is increased to $10,740, this resolution is acceptable to us. We would like Shade tree to confirm that the new amount of the certificate we hold is $10,740, and that they will honor their quote for $13,626.56 and we will consider this matter to be resolved.
