I am an insurance agent trying to get my client onto the Allegian health plan because they have cancer and their oncologist and primary care physicians are both in networkI have called times to try and help my client enroll and have been unsuccessfulThe first time I called the agent couldnâ t hear me; I called back on a different phone and again the same thing Finally the third time I called to ask if a specific medication was on the formulary, they told me they couldn't look it upI was told to call their pharmacyThe pharmacy told me that they needed a member ID number and to call the insurance planI called Allegian again and this time they told me to call the Marketplace to find out if the medication was on the formulary How is the federal marketplace going to know more about their benefits and formulary than their own customer service? I had to wait minutes before I finally spoke to a manager who finally looked it up The client decided they wanted to enroll in the plan so I called Allegian for the 6th time and now I have been on hold minutes and still waiting for them to tell me how to get the client enrolledI can't believe how un-organized and horrible their customer service people have beenThis is by far the worst insurance organization I have ever worked withI would definitely not recommend this company to anyone

I have called 5 times to try and help my client enroll and have been unsuccessful. The first time I called the agent couldn’t hear me; I called back on a different phone and again the same thing.
Finally the third time I called to ask if a specific medication was on the formulary, they told me they couldn't look it up. I was told to call their pharmacy. The pharmacy told me that they needed a member ID number and to call the insurance plan. I called Allegian again and this time they told me to call the Marketplace to find out if the medication was on the formulary.
How is the federal marketplace going to know more about their benefits and formulary than their own customer service? I had to wait 20 minutes before I finally spoke to a manager who finally looked it up.

I can't believe how un-organized and horrible their customer service people have been. This is by far the worst insurance organization I have ever worked with. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.
