I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: Our realtor recommended Allegretto Plumbing to us and we called on Monday June 16th to have a drip fixed in our bathtub. We told the woman scheduling our appt that we also may need the whole hardware (faucets) replaced depending on what the problem was. We scheduled a time for them to come out on Thursday of the same week. The service appt was for 9am-12pm. They never showed. I called 3 times and each time the woman answering the phone was 100% NO help. She could not provide us a time that service was coming. We finally left the condo at 2pm since we were on vacation and wasting our day.

No plumber showed OR called on Thursday.

Friday morning we went to the boardwalk. When we arrived home, our realtor, downstairs on the corner, told us the plumber had come and fixed our drip. They had opened the door to the condo for them, which was fine for the day before HOWEVER, we never received a phone call about what they were doing or even them asking us what we wanted done! There was no note saying they had been there or what they had done.

We never spoke to an actual plumber, just a secretary.

We also had new faucet from Lowes sitting on the kitchen table ready to be installed and we never got a chance to say that we wanted it installed.

We just received a bill with NO itemization for $154.00 from them. It's funny they couldn't come out on time but the bill arrived in less than a week= abra cadabra!

The bill reads "re-washered tub faucet".

We were told the service appt was $100. I'm no plumber but I can only guess that a washer costs about $1.

We were never explained what would be done, and never explained what was done. Last, we didn't even get the whole job done. How hard would it have been to call us and ask what we wanted?Desired Settlement: We are willing to pay for $100 service call. We initiated the request and that's how much we were told it would cost.

The tub still drips for 5 mins, not continuosuly, but now 5 mins after turing off the 30+ year old faucets.

However, we figured Allegretto Plumbing was a no show and really, we could have fixed the problem in the 24 extra hrs it took for them to come! But how would anyone know that without calling!? Plus, the whole job was not complete. The new faucets were still sitting on our kitchen table!

We think the extra $54 is an inflated add on, especially with no description over the phone or written. A good business person would have provided an apology or discount for being a whole day late, and should have told us they were coming, when we figured they were not.
