Allen Automotive in Asheboro NC: My Mom (years young) took her sister (years young) here to pick up her car which she leaves it there it seems like every two weeks or soMy Mom's car would not startIt does this on occasionIt has to be in park correctly My Mom left her car thereI called the shop at 8am the next day and asked if they had tried to start the carThey (Brandon) said noI asked him to try to start the car because sometimes it will do thatBut nothing is really wrong He said it was not on their schedule but he would work it in in the next weekI asked him to please just try to start the carI told him we were coming to get the car because nothing is wrong with it that needs to be worked onHe said don't come I will try to start it and call youI gave him my home numberHe did not call by 9amWe went over to the shopThe car was on a lift! I asked him why and he said he was checking the starter Why On a lift? He sent us to the office to talk to the ownerThe owner was on the phone and did not even acknowledge we were thereI saw the car being lowered and we went out and I saw tools in the hoodBrandon said he was checking the starterThe battery was newI again asked why he did not try to start the car before taking apart? He said he would work on it in between othersI remarked that he already had time to put the wires back on and try to to start it while he was just talking He said he would work on it and give us a call for us to go I told him we would be back in a few minutes to get the car because I told him we were not leaving it there I called the shop while we were out and Brandon passed the call to the ownerThe owner said "come and get your car" and abruptly hung up on me Why did Brandon not try to start the car before taking it apart? Why was it on a lift? Why did the owner abruptly hang up the phone on me? This car was left by my motherI don't even think my Mom left her phone number or nameI did leave my phone number and name when I called and when I was there but Brandon just wrote it on scrape piece of paper In my opinion this shop is not very professional with customers if you do not want them to tear your car apart
