Since we were unable to find the siding contractor who had the time to do this work in a timely manner we sent the homeowner $We were determined to find a siding contractor who has full insurance and Workmen’s Comp The homeowner can hire a handyman or perhaps find a siding contractor on his ownWe think that $should be adequate to fix this issueWe truly wish we could’ve found a siding contractor who was able to do it in a timely manner but we’ve been unsuccessful locating a contractor who had the time to help until later in the spring At this time there’s not much more we can do but to send this money and hope that he will be successful in locating a siding contractorI still think he might have to cut down the tree in order to get them access to this area or at least trim it back considerably We try to be good stewards and to do good work but sometimes things are just out of your control and it is unfortunate for everyone

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. It’s interesting as Mr*** leads you to believe the $was solely out of the goodness of his heart when in fact I believe it to be a direct result of my contacting the Revdex.com and my local home owners insurance representative. I spoke with the insurance representative several times and was informed of the intended resolution prior to receiving the check. In fairness to Mr*** he probably will contest my earlier comment however, I do have in writing his intention to “do nothing further” and now the change of directionperhaps a coincidence... I will continue to use the Revdex.com in the future and this is a notable example of the process helping the consumerThank you…Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Mr*** contacted me via my personal email on 4/14/and isn't happy with me contacting the Revdex.com regarding the issue. I feel he has no intent on reparing the damaged his Roofing Team caused based on this quote from his email: "At this point with your complaint with the Revdex.com you already caused my company great harm and I am not happy about the situation. Therefore you were on your own if you want to have that fixed! I intend to do nothing more for you unless you have a leak on the roof I will take care of that as written in the contract!" I've been in contact with Mr*** since I first saw the issue and Mr*** has been to the home to review and take photos as well. The damaged areas need to be replaced.I've also contacted my home owners insurance company to make them aware as Mr*** came as being a recommended roofing company and they are disappointed with his actions as well. His references to crediting our bill due to oil stains on the concrete is accurate and I feel was justified. There also was broken landscape lighting that had to be replaced. The open issue remains the damaged aluminum trim in several areas where it joins the roof

There were some minor issue on a piece of J channel on an area off his roof that he did not notice for several months after the project was completed. We are roofing contractors and we attempted to find a siding contractor who could take care of this minor detail but unfortunately my siding...

contractor in Vine Grove is fighting cancer and is unable to help me at this point. A siding contractor in Louisville was unwilling to come to Elizabethtown to do such a small job for me even as a favor. I have contacted another contractor in Rineyville who said he would try to help me with this  issue sometime this spring.   I kept the customer informed of everything and why there was a delay in getting this done. I had previously sent the customer approximate $200 after the job is completed because he complained about some sort of oil spill from one of our trucks on his driveway. I did not even look at it. I just took him for his word and sent him a $200 check and he seemed  to be satisfied.   It was a few  months later that he brought this up.  I told him  at the end of the winter and sometime in the spring we would try to solve the problem. At this point we feel the custom did not give us ample opportunity to remedy the problem.    We take great pride in what we do in the roofing business.  We strive to be honest with people and do our job with integrity at all times. Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations and in this case the customer never gave me a chance to get this fixed.Yes, it was taking a very long time to get this remedied because I couldn’t find the proper qualified person to do such a small repair because everyone is so busy. It’s a piece of J channel about a foot long and it’s in a very difficult place to get to.   I think the homeowner is going to have to cut down a small tree or bush in order for any contractor to get access to the area to replace the piece of J channel. It’s on a steep slope and this bush will hinder anyone trying to work on it. We were unable to help  and for that we are sorry!  Ironically, I found a local contractor last week who told me he would contact the customer as soon as possible but it this point there’s not much we can do for him at this time.
