After reviewing the complaint from Mr***, I have discovered two errors on our part. First there was a communication error between *** and our office staff. When listing what was done under the desctiption on the invoice it should have read as follows: "The A/C unit platform was
raised and lifted a couple of inches. We installed a weatherlock membrane on the roof deck and around the perimeter of the platformOnce the platform was reset, we installed flashing as needed to make the platform base water tight for this roofing system. The charge of $is legitimate according to what was done. THis roof was wind damaged and *** *** Insurance paid Mr*** for this roofing system along with some interior repairs (see attachment). *** *** paid Mr*** $1,for the removal of the A/C units, however, it wasn't necessary because there was enough room with the A/C lines to lift the platform without disconnecting the units. I consider Mr*** to be a very good customer and since we made the error of not listing what was done properly, I have decided to waive the $charge (although legitimate). Our second error on this invoice was we didn't charge Mr*** the upgrade on the dimensional shingles of $367.00. This invoice reflects the $4,for the roof contract and $for rotten wood that was replaced during the roofing process. Mr*** paid a total of $5,for the roof (see copy of the check). I am requesting Mr*** pay $for the dimensional shingle upgrade that he received and signed for. See his initials for approval next to the price on the contract (see copy of contract). After reviewing the *** *** claim, Mr*** was paid $7,after his $1,deductible. The total pay out was $6,260.24. Bottomline *** *** has allowed enough money to cover the roof contract, the upgrade to dimensional shingles, the wood replacement and the interior repairs. Leaving Mr*** with $in his pocket. Sounds like a great deal to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

This roof was installed in July of ( over years ago ) I have seen the pictures provided and it is very clear that a squirrel has chewed its way in starting at the gutterboard and the edge of the roofThe statement about the problem was the shingle wasn't adhered or there was nail missing
according to her exterminator would not stop a squirrel from chewing its way inWe see this type of damage from squirrels and raccoons a hand full of times every yearI left Mrs*** a message on her voice mail this morning before receiving this complaintI have no problem talking to her however the decision will remain the sameThe will be no assistance provided due to damages caused by a squirrelThis is not a workmanship issue and we regret that Mrs*** is having this problem

First of all, what the insurance company paid isnt the matter at hand.thats money I pay into like everyone else.  i paid invoice of $5053 for the roof. Then I get billed $425 for extra work that was disregarded due to not disconnecting air lines. Now that being said they telling me { six months} later I didnt pay for all the roof. There was addittional $275 added on my first invoice that I have paid. This has went from the roof,to extra work,to back to the roof. This is "unfair billing ".You cant keep on billing someone and adding a little more in saying "I forgot to add this in",thats not right. When a customer agrees to pay a certain amount, thats all they expect to pay. This is called low balling to get the business, then hike it up. If a company makes an error or misprints at some point, its on personnel. I have paid what I was charged and agreed upon. You dont treat customers like this who has used you repeadedly and refer to others. Doing the bate and switch.
