Good afternoon,The response to complaint [redacted] is as follows:This message is in regard to a complaint submitted to Revdex.com about your business on 12/29/by [redacted] This complaint was assigned ID [redacted] Our employees sent a quotation to the customer and it may have gone to their spam folderWe contacted the customer once we received this complaint and arranged return shippingThe meter was returned non-repaired (via customer instructions) Monday 1/16/once we received the shipping label from the customer.Thank youLIbby

I am rejecting this response because: I did call Allen Industries numerous times I was originally told by Loren C [redacted] that Allen was fast track me a new sign, and have it delivered to me in a week and a halfThe next day I spoke to C [redacted] she inquired about me keeping the sign with some type of compensation The next day C [redacted] began telling me it was my problem because I signed the freight ticket without opening the crate, and inspecting for damageI feel a company that has been in business for years should have someone with knowledge of the company's policy on damaged goodsI understand that it was the delivery company's fault for the damage, but I did not hire the company, I just paid a huge about to have them ship me out damaged signs in a period extending a month

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I accept it.  Finally after close to two month's after receiving the first damaged sign I have received what I originally paid 2000.00 for.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did call Allen Industries numerous times.  I was originally told by Loren C[redacted] that Allen was fast track me a new sign, and have it delivered to me in a week and a half. The next day I spoke to C[redacted] she inquired about me keeping the sign with some type of compensation.  The next day C[redacted] began telling me it was my problem because I signed the freight ticket without opening the crate, and inspecting for damage. I feel a company that has been in business for 87 years should have someone with knowledge of the company's policy on damaged goods. I understand that it was the delivery company's fault for the damage, but I did not hire the company, I just paid a huge about to have them ship me out 2 damaged signs in a period extending a month.

We reject Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  The sign order was FOB.  Once the sign leaves out shop, it is the buyers responsibility to inspect and accept freight, and notify carrier of any damage.  We received responses from the freight company to cover the second damage, even though this was a FOB order, custom sign, and we remade the face on an expedited order.  As listed in our earlier response, we are meeting the request for the third replacement.  We have the replacement sign crated and ready for pickup Friday 3/30/18.  For surety purposes, we are have the sign delivered to a 3rd part sign shop, [redacted], to inspect and accept the delivery, and to carry the sign to  [redacted] at our expense after inspection.  We will send the BOL to Mr. [redacted] with notification of it's leaving our shop tomorrow.  As the form we have our customers sign for FOB clearly states, it is not our responsibility to handle the freight claim; however, we have for Mr. [redacted] from the beginning.   thank you,
