I did call *** *** to discuss the unfortunate situation his daughter was placed in the day she went to her road test.*** had called our office, kind of close to ***'s test date on the 25th of Sept.In my haste to schedule an instructor for her, when finalizing the procedure for the
morning of the test, I neglected to inform, or Mr*** may have misunderstood me, that New Life Driving School does not wait at the dmv for the student drivers to go through the motor vehicle line, after the initial road test.When my instructor placed *** on the line for new licenses, with the proper forms filled out, he gave her his cell phone number and instructed her to call him if she needed a ride homeHe indicated would return for her if she did not have a ride home.He should have contacted Mr*** himself at that point, no doubt about it. Huge mistake.Since the instructor was following the procedure for a road test, he thought everything had already been arranged for *** to be picked up during the office call when I spoke to Mr***.Although road test protocol remains we do not wait at the dmv, I have now instituted safeguards so this never happens again.I'm quite sure, after my call to apologize to Mr*** for our neglect, all is well between us.Mr*** did not request from me a refund but I will attempt to call him in that regard.I'm very sorry this occured, after years of quality service, we are proud of service we offer to our families and it is too bad this had to happen to one of them.Please contact me if I need to further comment on this unfortunate situation
