I am rejecting this response because: we paid this company almost $4,with the understanding that they would resolve the issue with our foundation. As it now stands we have damage to the interior sheetrock in our living room, dining room and front bedroom, and our front porch is buckled which with the exception of the sheetrock above the bedroom door did not exist before the company worked on the foundation. Our home is not leveled and our doors stick.. We paid money and spent time to install new siding at the demand of our park because the flashing the company installed was not in compliance with park rules, and we now must start over with depleted funds and more damage than we had to begin with. We could have gone with other companies and had the house adjusted times for what we paid this company. The last time someone from the company came out we were told more work needed to be done and that they would do so without charge, but when we called to reschedule our calls were repeatedly not returned until finally we were told they would not longer work with us. The work did not resolve the initial problem, their warranty was worthless, and idea that we do not maintain our home is insulting and incorrect. Our feeling is that the company made promises they could not and did not keep and looked for any excuse to not back up their commitment to resolve the issue. Anyone considering doing business with them would be well advised not to do so.Regards,

*** 09/09/16 Allen’s Foundation has made several adjustments to the foundation of the ***’ home, even after their warranty was voided, as per our Contract. We are one of the only companies in Texas that offers a foundation warranty on mobile homesPer our contract, the warranty stipulates that the home must be properly skirted and must be maintained in a dry condition to keep the warranty in place. On 08/13/Mr*** called due to problems with doors not opening and some other concerns with his foundationI personally went out and crawled under his home. I found a sewer line back up. He had raw sewage spilling under his home. It was visible that due to all the water and sewage under the home, many of the piers had moved. I explained to Mr*** that he needed to wait and see how the foundation was after the sewer line was repaired and the crawl space had sufficient time to dry out. I sent my Forman out to check the crawl space approximately four (4) weeks later. The Foreman reported that the home was in need of a complete re-shim due to the settlement and damage caused by the leak and water. We detailed this information in a follow up letter to Mr*** in which I outlined his contract and offered to help him by making an adjustment for a nominal feeHe agreed to the fee. The adjustment was made and he signed a completion form the day the work was performed.Mr*** called again this Spring. After returning from an extended trip out of state, his home had again shifted and needed another adjustmentI personally went back to his home for another site checkAccording to Mr***, the mobile home park did not like the metal flashing my company had installed specifically to keep the crawl space dry. He had removed all of the metal water barrier and replaced it with sections of cement fiber boardMy inspection showed that rain water, from the very wet Spring, had penetrated under his cement fiber board skirting. Many of his piers had moved, yet again. The irony is that it was not necessary to remove the metal flashing that Allen’s Foundation had installed. He could have simply installed the cement fiber trim right over the top of the metal flashing. Mr*** would have been able to keep the water out from under his home and satisfied the parks requirements. Regardless, Mr*** warranty was void after the original sewer leakHe has now compounded his problem by removing the water barrier he paid Allen’s Foundation to install.Per the Allen’s Foundation Contract that Mr*** signed, it is clear that we cannot warranty a home that is not properly maintained. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at our office.*** *** Sincerely,*** ***Win or Learn, Inc.DBA Allen’s Foundation & Remodeling

Mr*** contacted my office on or around the beginning
of July to ask for help with his insurance claim due to storm damageWe
asked him to forward his insurance estimate to determine the scope of loss. After reviewing the initial claim we set an appointment to
meet Mr*** at his
home to see the actual damage the meeting took place on
July 17, 2015At the meeting we informed Mr*** that the insurance
company did not allow the proper monies and scope to address all of the damages
he had suffered.I explain that we could help him with the proper
documentation of the storm damage and get the proper funding so that he could
properly recover the total damages from the stormWe further explained that we
would work to keep his out of pockets expense as low as feasible with the
understanding that his home owner’s policy has deductibles and non-recoverable
depreciation. The Insurance Company originally allowed $for the
claim.Mr*** agreed to have Allens contact his insurance company
and document the discrepancies which we didWe secured an additional $
to cover the additional loss he sufferedWe are inclosing a copy of the documentation we gave to the
insurance company and a copy of the letter we sent to his mortgage company so
that they would start releasing the insurance funds so that we could start the repairs
They sent me an initial check in the amount of$to begin repairs. We have not received any additional funds for repair at this
timeNor have any repairs been started. On November we went to the property to line out the
roof repairs as well as the interior sheetrock repairs. We were met by Mr*** mother in law who proceeded to
tell me that Mr*** financial situation had changed and that she wanted
to renegotiate the cost and scope of the repairs. She explained that Mr*** had spent the monies that the
insurance company had released to him on living expenses and he would not be
able to pay me for my services as agreed. The documentation we forwarded to the mortgage company
states that the customer will either allow Allen’s to complete the repairs or
that we will charge 21% of the funds we collected on their behalf which amounts
to $This means that Allen’s will agree to refund $less
the Agreed 21% of leaving a net to Mr*** of $1611.04We will notify the insurance company and the mortgage
company of this so that they understand that Mr*** will be handling the
repairs to his property in the future
