I was living at The Bridge Apartments located in Hayward, CA (managed by ConAM Management Corporation)I was paying month-to-month rent from October In February 2017, my unit was notified that I had until March 20, to decide to sign a lease, otherwise the month-to-month rent would increase from approximately $2,to $3,beginning April 1, I decided to put in my days notice on March 20, (the date listed above)My last day would then be April 19, 2017, as confirmed by The Bridge ApartmentsI went into the office on April 3, and asked for the exact prorated rent amount (days of April) that would be due on April 19, The worker there ( [redacted] ) gave me my prorated amount from the initial $2,monthly rent I was paying (around $1520) Once I moved, I received a letter from The Bridge Apartments indicating that I owed them $and that if I don't pay by May 20, this amount will go to [redacted] (collection's agency

This Business is a habit of Harassing tenants simply because they are asked to make repairs and they are consistently promising to make repair and never fulfilling their obligationsThey would receive rent payments in their mail box and fail to report that it was collected by ConAM Apartment property Management whose address is *** *** *** *** *** *** and phone number ***Further, I was giving sixty days notice to move because I requested repairs to the Garage and Doors and Window blinds!

I have been making repeated complaints to both *** and ConAm Property Management about persistently broken laundry equipment in the laundry facilities at the Bridge Apartments in Hayward, CA Part of the tenant's rent goes towards having these facilities available and functional, however at any given time there is usually broken washers, which is half The secondary laundry facilities are in much worse disrepair than the facilities at the front office This give a impression to potential renters that all facilities are in similar condition I have been making complaints for months and there has been ZERO progress in getting these washers replaced, or repairs made that last longer than a few days Some of the washers are reliable, so there is no reason why the other washers cannot be made reliable *** and *** review also reflect these same issues, as well as other systemic issues with the site

From Dec to Feb 2016, my family and I lived in Coventry Park Apartments and Townhomes (managed by ConAM and located in Roseville, Ca)Our overall experience dealing with their management office was very negative
We have had many concerns about the management office and their customer serviceHowever, in this complaint I will focus on two main issues:
1) Unreasonable increase of the rent in every lease renewal (every 6-months) The increase was 7- 15%This kind of increase takes away the peace of mind from families who live thereThe management always offers better rates for new tenantsWhen I requested getting similar rates like new tenants, the management team told me that the only way to get a better rate is by moving out from my apartment to a new apartment so I become a new tenant and qualify for a better rate (same size apartment)How crazy is this suggestion?!!
