*** brother, *** is the salesman who offered the $discountMy husband, my father in law, and myself and heard this from himEach time *** has called the business, he gets bounced back and forth between *** *nd *** Yes it is a used vehicle, but you refused to lower the price because of the worn out tires and the check engine sensorWe first contacted Allen's about purchasing tires a week ago and have given him at least three opportunities to make things right to no avail*** got into a heated conversation with my husband on the phone Monday and it ended with *** yellingHe later called back and apologizedHe also stated that his brother did not have the authority to offer a dealIt shouldn't matter who offered the deal, it need honored.

My name is *** *** Owner of Allen's Pre-Owned Autos I am writing concerning the compliant from *** *** *** ** ***The vehicle was towed in for us to look at and figure out why it was over heating we were working with*** who was paying for it not *** *** there were hoses
unhooked that we had to fix to even pressure testl told *** that the head gaskets were bad and we would have to send heads away to be tested and if they needed replaced it would cost over $which was a lot more than vehicle is worth, It took several days to here from *** and they couldn't approve that amount by the time they approved it they wouldn't approve replacing heads by then l had other head jobs a transmission job and replacing a motor before we could do his, Once we got to his we sent heads away then they told us it would be more weeks to look at so we went and got and took them somewhere elseSpending this kind of money on this vehicle was crazy but replacing the heads had nothing to do with the rest of the motor We were told it just needed to be safe to run, We fixed what we were told to fix the engine light wasn't something on the list, I would say fixing the heads just helped it build up more pressure which could other problemsHe shouldn't complain when he wasn't paying for Itl would like to know who the mechanic is that said we didn't do it right there was no way that parts of the head gasket were left in the motor and nothing that we worked on had any metal shavings, If there were any shavings they would of had to be in the bottom of the engineThe mechanic that done the work is very good, *** *** is just wanting something again for nothing the head gasket that we replaced didn't go bad it was something else in the motor that let looseThis vehicle is a The problem isn't a problem from the work we completedBut I would like to know who the mechanic was that is telling him this stuff

To Whom it may concern; I am letting you know that Lori can't seem to get the story straight, When I called her about the letter I told her that I wanted to meet with her husband, father-in-law and her to get the story straight about the $She said she didn't here it that was what her husband and father-in-law said, Now she is saying she was hereShe also is saying I yelled at her husband then called and apologized not true I told him that we wern't going to be acused of lyingAlso she stated in the letter to you I quoted him tires for $ the price I quoted him was $big differenceI talked to her husband and told him of the tires on that truck were at least 80% the other were approx40% it didn't need 4 tiresI called the father-in-law and told him if she couldn't tell the truth I would let my Attorney take care of itShe told her husband they were to busy to come and meet with me seems a little odd if she wants to take care of this, But I don't think she can look at me in the face and admit she is lying

To whom it may concern; On April 20th I received a letter from the Revdex.com that a customer had filed a complaintThis customer purchased a used truck from us in October the tires were approxto 45% I told the customer I would give them a good deal on tires I never said that
I would give them $ towards a set of tires that would be crazy, They have been driving this vehicle for ( ) months and now they want me to purchase new tires that is crazy it was a used vehicle not a new oneWhen they called me about tires and told me what they were looking at the *** *** I told them that *** made several different Courser tires the ones he said he wanted I priced at $not $I told them about several other tires he said I will let you know in a few days when he called me he said he could get them for $I told him that was cheaper than l could buy themUntil I received this letter he had never said anything about me giving a $discount, He just said I told him I would give him a good deal and I told him I was but I couldn't lose money on themAnd on the sensor we did check the code and replace the sensor and the light went outAgain it is a used vehicle a I am willing to check the engine light but if it isn't the same code then they would have to pay for having it checkedThey were also offered to purchase an extended warrantyIf his wife has worked in auto sales for several years she would know a dealer isn't going to give a $ discount seven months after the factI have been in the car business for years and I have never done that They knew they were buying a used truck that was very nice and above average.Thanks, *** ***, Owner
